          Good Morning everyone! After reading the previous posts, my head is itching!! We too had our windows open yesterday Fen, until Hubs said we needed the air on and I caved - it is supposed to get up to 90 here this weekend! The weather is so weird. supposed to have rain (maybe) today - just a 30% chance. After weeding for 4 hours yesterday, hubs said that I had done a nice job but I know they will just grow back anyway don't I? !!!! Could have thumped him !!

          Hope your brother is doing well this morning Fen - prayers for him and your family from me :l. I did Google TTP and yes, it is scary stuff.

          Grateful - hope you are doing well, and your pain starts to recede. I hope that the surgery works for you. Hugs and prayers for you too :l

          Need to get ready for work. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. It is good to be back.

                    This afternoon, Nora. But I'm so much better. Had a tiny relapse of the virus yesterday, guess I overdid it on Monday. Yes, those little bugs spread like wildfire, and with the huge influx of immigrants with different hygiene habits it seems to have really blown up. There was an infamous case a while back of an outbreak of bedbugs at the Neiman-Marcus in NYC. Lice are MUCH more easily treated than them, since they get into every piece of fabric in the area. You basically have to leave everything and move to get rid of them. ICK! Like Sun said, I itch just thinking about them!
                    Fen, hope you have a good day with your mom and bro. I know it's especially comforting for him to see his momma, and you. There's no worse feeling of being alone when you're hooked up to so much crap and not able to help yourself, and what I experienced was SO small compared to what he's going through. I hope he does know we're all pulling for him, and like I said, having ya'll there is good medicine.
                    Sun, I hate that you don't more time to rest, but then you never do, right? Yes, we're in the constant battle of the grass and weeds for the next 6 or more months. We have ACRES of grass that have to be cut weekly at the rentals. It's about the same as Hubs being at work all the time, since his 'off' season at work is the summer, and starts again at Labor Day. If he'd let me back on the mower I could help out, even though I can't do the weed eater anymore. Tay and JC cleaned out one of big flower beds, but now things are coming back with a vengeance. I'd put Ninny on them but she's indiscriminate about what she chews up. She's been walking on her back legs to get to the fig bush! Oh well, it needed pruning.
                    MB, hope you're still feeling good. It's SO nice for a change, isn't it? Have you thought any more about coming up when Fen visits? And Bird, you too. This time we could go to the beach and the waterfall. One of my favorite memories is taking a picnic lunch up to Vogel State Park, when Rick was a toddler and Tip an infant, and sitting on a blanket on the grass overlooking the lake. Such a beautiful place, so quiet and peaceful.
                    Hope we hear from the MIA's soon. ATL, I've been thinking about you and hope you're better. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but take care of yourself! Luke needs to have a healthy mom, not one that 'fits' with the group of mothers who don't seem worth your time to fret over.
                    Tony, T, how are things with you boys? You're always getting into something, but we miss you!
                    Mish, I know you're busy with your housefull, but let us know how YOU are, and the family. You have so much on your plate these days, so YOU take care too.
                    I wish Swanny would check in. We all miss you, love.
                    Gotta do some work here, but what a good day it is! See jus'all later. (like that better than 'ya'll'?)

                        There are very differing views of what happened, MB. I wish instead of pulling the 'race card' everyone would wait for the legal system to investigate what happened. No one in the event will ever be the same, and it is a shame the news media has jumped on this and is flaming the fire. The man in question is half white/half Hispanic, and no one has really explained what happened there. The shooter's story hasn't been listened to, just what a great kid he was. Then, the story comes out that he was on suspension from school and in a gated community when this happened. The slant on the news is NOT helping the truth come out, and the black publicity seekers (Al Sharpton, etc) come running when there is a possibility of exposure. The guilty party needs to be held accountable, whoever it is, but should not be convicted in the court of public opinion. I don't know the details, so I can't say who it is, and neither should anyone else, but race should NOT be the defining issue. But you're right - what his mother has done is tacky. I could never profit from my child's death.

                            OK, all you hens, I had a good nap today and rested, went to doc and will hear results later, but all looks good. Just need to build myself up, eat more, sleep more. Halved the med that was causing me problems.
                            I see it's quiet as usual here while everyone is toiling away. That's good, but I miss you guys and when you're here I'm not. I always start off my day by reading the internet news, and can't imagine why the discovery of a 4-y/o's body, the murder of a beloved single-mom with her 2-yr old left in a running car, and Tori Spelling's 4th pregnancy get equal billing. What are we coming to?

                                Wow. Bro's breathing tube is out and he is doing really well today! I told him that all my friends are praying for him and rooting for him, and he was very touched. Tomorrow, he will have a heart catheterization to discover what caused his MI on Saturday. Then, he will be moved to a different room (out of ICU). Wanted hugs and kisses from both mom and I when we left. :h
