I heard from ATL. Her head is finally getting better. Is taking Topamax for the migraines. Hopefully, her BP will come down when she is not in so much pain.

Poor old Sunny. Sometimes we have to learn our limitations as we 'age'. Jet setting is for the young, dearie. But it's good to have you back in any shape. You didn't answer my question about the dogs though.
MB you know you're to hot to be furniture. You'd set the house on fire! Unfortunately we all take our partners for granted sometimes but you are loved and you inlaid. Hubs way of being overly protective is his idea of caring. Driving me crazy.
Nora I love raises too. They bloom wild here in the summer. When SIL was courting Tip he'd bring wildflowers from his runs and leave them by her door. It worked!
Hope Fen has a good report today. I'm down for the night but made great chicken stir fry with fresh veggies and brown rice. Tay and I made it and I showed her how to improvise with ingredients.

Good Morning all! Ruby - the dogs did indeed go crazy when I came home - although not as crazy as when I am gone just for a few hours which was strange. I think Ben was wary 'cos of the suitcase - it scared him. And yes, we do need to learn our limitations - but tripping off to UK is not on my list of limitations any time soon! I just haven't had jet lag quite this bad EVER! Hopefully today should see me back to normal. Hope so as I close tomorrow night - LOL. Oh Rubes - I love raises too, but daisies are my favourite flower. (snicker).

Hoping to hear from Grateful to see how things went for her - I really hope that this surgery helped her back. I cannot imagine living in constant pain.

Hi there Bird - back to posting before/after you! Good for you mowing the lawn yesterday - Hubs ended up doing ours on Tuesday seeing as I had done 4 hours weeding. he did ask why I hadn't mowed the lawn first though!

We had storms during the night and ended up with both dogs on the bed - this was a first for Ben who usually gets down immediately if he is put on furniture (past conditioning I am assuming) but stayed up next to me as I tried to doze and reassure throught the storm. Poor Ben.

Off to get ready for work - it was nice to be back and was told I was missed! Always good to hear! Back later,

Everyone is so quiet today. Guess you're all enjoying this fabulous weather too. Good to hear from ATL. She HAS been through the ringer, and I can tell you the pain DOES raise your BP. And Topomax was originally intended to help treat them, I think.
We got the sweetest little thank-you note from Ry, written in pencil. Can't believe our boy is 7, and still so tiny. He's proof that babies born to crack addicted mothers CAN flourish. He has the sweetest nature in the world, and he and Jack are inseparable. They are true brothers, and AB is the evil older sister who torments them equally. Grace and Tay came over yesterday afternoon (Mad was staying over at a friend's) since the girls always spend Wednesday nights with their daddy.
Sun, you jump right back into work when get back! I can't even bring myself to go to town, have been meaning to since Monday. I get tired just reading your schedule.
Nora, sweetie, just getting flowers out of the blue is SUCH a pick-me-up, isn't it. I'm so glad your Hubs thought of doing that. Once when we had Secret Santa at church, I sent my friend a bouquet of flowers at Christmas to her work, and she told everyone at church about it. She said she'd never gotten flowers before (she WAS a piece of furniture to her husband and boys). Sometimes it's just what people need.
