Afternoon!
starty, I'm sorry to hear your news. I imagine you'll need some time to come to terms with it, but maybe sometime soon you'll be able to see this as an opportunity to move on with your life. I hope so. :l At least you've got your trip to Ireland to look forward to, and that can only help at the present time.
Tips, well done on looking after your ma. Is your father out of rehab, now? Safe travels to your ma and to Jackie. I hope everyone has a brilliant time at the Irish meetup. It goes without saying that those of us who can't be there are hoping for reportage and pics, please.
Do you keep sheep, tabbers?

:disco: Well, since half of the Army are partying in Dublin....:H
Hope you are all having a lovely day.:l
For the rest of us-well, I went to the library earlier (the excitment NEVER stops) but on a positive note...found a gorgeous little black dress -French name brand and all-for three euros at a thrift store. Now I just have to lose about 5 pounds to fit into it!:H But I couldn't pass it up.
And am now cooking a pork roast for dinner.

Things are kind of quiet here in the barracks. No wonder, with half the Army at the Dublin meet up. I can't tell you how happy it makes me when the Army folk get together. And I see that a Limers will be there and maybe Sats and Foxy. WooHoo!!! How neat is that. What Reccie said - we'll want pictures and lots of them. I talked to Jackie this morning about 8 a.m her time and she was so excited I could hardly understand a word. :H I bet she and Molly will be up all night talking and giggling like a couple of teenagers. What fun!!
Jan, hope you're having some time just for yourself - relax, cook yourself some healthy food, walk your doggies and try to think positive thoughts. The time out for you and Ollie is something you both need desperately at this point and you'll see that all will work out for the best. You'll both have time to heal and to get your relationship back to where it was at one time. :huggy
Startypants, while I am sorry on one hand to hear that you and Mr. Starts are separating, the signs have been there for some time now. Many things have changed in your life over the past few years and it looks like this was one of the things that needed to change as well. You're a strong woman, and you will get through this and be an even stronger woman for the experience. Sending positive vibes your way and :l.

Pingu - I just now noticed this in your signature and it gave me quite the chuckle....I have a jelly belly. It was a present from my kids
Good for you on going to see Jim. I bet that jelly-belly will turn into a nice flat tummy in no time at all. I got new purple jammies today.
Well, the barracks are really quiet tonight. Rightly so seeing that most of the troopers are out and about in Dublin-Town. My guess is that they will leave their mark at Bewley?s Grafton Street Caf?. To all the Army, wishing you...
Hopefully catch up with youz tomorrowz...
