Good morning Expatty, Tipperoooo, Zens, Corrie, mariooo and Mollers.
Had to get a second cup of coffee there's so much to read this morning.
Expatty, I echo what Zens said. Can I adopt you as my Mammy.
Tips. I know it's going to be very hard for your Ma. I know she's in for a rough trot for the near future. But hopefully she's going to be able to relax and enjoy her Autumn years with her family after every thing has been sorted out.

Hiya guys, had a busy day here, been to uni lessons and been to see jim, now in uni libary searchng for a new job and doing sum uni work then got two counselling clients later, no rest for the wicked, lolI love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.

Hey muimmy JC need some of you culinary advice.......
I've made yummy chocolate cake, but for the icing I can't remember..coz in the recent year for all of them I've used fresh whipped cream with chocolate powder folded in..
but I't like to ice it...I remember in the past it had to be with marzipan so it doesn't soak into the cake.....
but I'm half sure there's a way with egg whites whipped with icing sugar....I can't rememeber...any ideas..?????

melt a bit of chocolate with a tiny bit of water and add icing sugar..... a nice simple tasty top for a chocolate cake??I have a drink problem, I have been AF since 15 March 2011 and I am working hard to stay that way

Afternoon guys.
Still not feeling great but had a Reiki treatment last night which helped. I got my cholesterol checked today...6.1 ...............NOT good. Changes need to be made.

My cholesterol is 6.5 but no-one seems too put out about it. Apparently it's to do with the ratio of LDL v HDL. And I have a lot of the good stuff
Tell me about the Reiki - I'd love to get it done but not sure what it's for - like the sound of it though

Afternoon army. Not feeling so great either i have an upset tummy i hope i haven't picked up a bug. Feelin tired also. Jan it sounds like you cheered up a bit which i know can be difficult giving ur situation. Keeping busy is gud and that cake sounds yummy. Sending hugs from Dublin:l. I hope you feel a bit better soon Oney. I never had reiki done i wud luv to give it a try. I got turned down for a long term illness benefit which i'm goin to appeal as i'm able for full time work. The cutbacks in this country wud get u down. My cholestral was checked last year and was 7.5 which my dr said was high so she put me on lipkar tablets. I'm also on meds for osteophoris i'm not in great shape at only 50 binge drinking for years didn't help ah well cud be worse. Well i best get on with some cleaning around here. Have a gud tuesday folks.
