Afternoon!
went back to sleep after that early morning wake-up and finally got up properly in the early afternoon. Even though I was still absolutely knackered, it was a lovely day outside so I forced myself to go to Sainsbury's. Back home again and feeling a bit more wakeful now, so decided to show my face.

Some very good comments there, I agree with them totally. Oney, you've been coming out with a lot of good stuff these past couple of days.

Sorry, but I had to laugh at your little mishap with your bag in the sink, zenny! I hope there's no lasting damage done though and that you've managed to get it dried out properly. I avoid public conveniences like the plague, they're usually so disgusting! :yuk:
Hello inchy! Good to see you around

Hi Reccie and thanks everyone it will seem strange going back to AA meetings after so long but i'll get back in to the swing of it and may be meet new friends or contacts. Glad things are working out for you and the bf again Inchy. You said on another tread that you live at home wit mum and brother how do you hide your drinking from them? I hope you find a way that works for you too. Just wondering do you from home Reccie or unemployed like me?

firefox: I have a room upstairs, the rest of the rooms are downstairs. I basically stay in my room, if I'm downstairs I've gotten pretty good at acting normal when i have to, and usually by the time i'm too drunk to cover it's gone 11 and I'm the last one up (usually pack down to bed about 12-12.30, get up at 6.30). My mum buys me alcohol, but then I buy some, mix n match beers n spirits w/mixers to drink the most I can each day which require alot of money, effort, maths n planning. Basically I have an incredibly mechanical system which revolves around me doing whatever I ahve to do to drink and keep that drinking secret. It's tiring, if I'm honest...
Reuters/Anon - cheers for keeping us all updatedI have faced it, a life wasted, and I am never going back there again

Good evening Troopers.
Hope Starty is feeling better, too.
Inchy - good to see you back. Best of luck to you getting things straightened out as far as AL is concerned. Lovely to hear that things between your BF and you are going well. Stick by here whenever you need to talk.
Molly - fantastic news about the baby. I can't wait to be a grandmother.
Oney - how is Mia doing today? Does her arm hurt?
Reccie - :wavin: Hope you got something tasty from the supermarket. What will you be making for dinner or have you already?
Zennie - I got a good laugh about your purse cause it got wet twice. The bathroom sink part was the funniest. Sorry. Glad you got things dried out okay.
Foxy - best of luck with the AA meeting. Hope you feel better tomorrow.
:hallo: to anyone I might have missed.
Glad to see Jan posting. Hope she fills us in on what the latest news is with the authorities, psychologists, etc. Waiting to see how things go with Ollie, if they will be able to get him some help ASAP.For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.
