    BEST OF THE BOARDS

    Has anyone ever put together an e-book that would compile the best of the boards? What I mean is a compilation of the most touching, wise, funny, informative posts that were ever posted here.

    This morning as I was browsing around I went to the very first posts in 2005 and Roberta Jewell was mentioning that they were thinking of doing that.

    Has it ever been done? If not maybe we could work as a team and put together a self-published e-book and have the profits go to help others in our situation.

    I want input here. I have the time and am a fairly decent writer but would need tons of advice, suggestions, team mates, etc. Can we put our heads together and not only put together a plan but start collecting everyone's favourite posts?

    Just putting it out there.

      I think compiling a book is a fabulous idea Miss Tipps! I suppose some sort of committee would help to make decisions on any profits that might be generated. I would be willing to act as a proofreader if given to me in bite sized bits. I might also offer to sit on some kind of committee as long as meetings were run efficiently and no ego bs.

        I also think that's a great idea! And there should be a relatively simple solution to the privacy issue... all submissions must be approved by the original author. Mind you, if you plan on making this e-book available outside of MWO, I can see some concerns. Especially for those, who are using a real photo for their avatar.

        Hmmm.. food for thought...

              there was a fantastic post years ago from a member called Katasm or something like that.It was an ode to her love affair with 'voddy'.God,without a doubt,it was the funniest thing ive ever read!
