Morning JC. I'm dreadful for starting stuff and not finishing and also for putting things off. So i guess i better get my act together and finish those painting and gardening jobs that need doing but one thing at a time. Hi gang,

Had a really nice sleep last night and now waiting for breakfast in bed.

Molly, one thing I have learned recently is that not everyone will like us, not matter how hard we try or what we do. I have also learned that this is NOT our fault. Once I am myself and I make an effort to be kind and courteous, that is my job done. If someone has a problem with me....IT'S THEIR PROBLEM.
I absolutely refuse to wonder why, analyse it, vow to try harder or most of all try to make a better impression next time.
I am who I am and if ya don't like me....SHAG OFF! I have spent far too much time worrying why a phone call was not returned or an invitation was not extended to me.....thinking it must be a flaw somewhere in my character and desperately trying to figure out why. The funny thing is I didn't even feckin LIKE the poxfucker who didn't invite me! Go Figure? The definition of madness? Oney sitting at home fretting, worrying and upset because she was not invited to a party of some bleeder she could not stand and also bizarrely, knowing that if I had been asked, I would have looked for an excuse not to feckin go!!


I love you Molly, I love spending time with you and meeting up, I consider you one of my close friends and you make me laugh like a drain.
Why put loads of effort into people you don't give a wank about? That's just pointless. You treat your friends VERY well as Jackie, myself and Fiona can vouch for and at the end of the day, you will always have lots of acquaintances at any given time in your life who will drift in and out and come and go but real friends are of a fewer number but will be there forever.

Stop worrying and just get on with your new, exciting , sober life and don't waste any more time worrying about people who don't matter.

The ones who matter are right where they always will be xxx

Exactly, right. It's taken me a divil of time to work out who my real friends are but I tell you what I could wander the earth 'til kingdom come and I'll never find the closeness I've found here. I've told you lot things I wouldn't admit to meself.

Morning Guys,

I think we all feel like you do at times Mollymoo, so some lesser or greater degree. I know for me, its taken a long time to be less sensitive about stuff like that.

Regarding the social anxiety tho, I absolutely think many people have that. And there is help out there to overcome it.

One thing that helps me, is the realisation that I think probably 90 % of us feel the same. And we all feel as if we are the only ones.

For what its worth Mollymoo, I think you are an amazing, funny, likeable lady and I LOVE spending time with you. I wish I could do so more often and maybe this year I can. xxx

Best of luck with your school meeting, expatty. Six versus one sounds very intimidating! It's ridiculous, actually, but I know you'll do a fantastic job of fighting to get the best for your son. :l

Molly, I'm a big fan of yours too, and you were really missed here when you went into rehab. You have a wonderful way with words and you are brilliant company here. This place just wouldn't be the same without you. I'm still hoping to meet you one day. :l

Good luck with your AL appointment this afternoon, foxy, I hope it goes well for you. We all need as much help as we can get with this horrible addiction of ours.

Good that you got some sleep, Mrs A, that always helps. I guess it's to be expected that some of the bruises will put in a late appearance. Try to put your feet up and take it easy for a while, you'll be more help to your daughter if you look after yourself properly.
