Whatching "A Homecoming, The Walton's Family Christmas" movie...I have it on tape from 1988! Seeing all those old commercials cracked us up!!!

And my 12 year old stepson has the most gorgeous head of curly red hair.......He is a doll..and I smile when I think of the comments we get from strangers! Everyone wants to toussle his hair! Having he and his brother here for Christmas makes me happy.:h

This is a positive post remember guys.....so i think positive new years experieces are needed here.
Today im happy cause im not hung over and im about to cook a lovely new years dinner for my family...its lovely having them all together, especialy my little neice who i absolutley adore

We were having this discussion over dinner last night....

We revamped our deck turning what was essentially a dump into a lovely, zenlike place of peace. Took me two months of sanding and painting, but every minute was worth it. Refused to take in the cushions until it snowed on them, but still, in New England winter, it quiets me just to sit there on a bare bench.

Oh, and in the children department, after my five year old daughter had driven me around the bend by 9:00 am one morning, I snapped "Just add it to the list of things I've messed up. Okay?!" There was a silence from the back seat, then "Can I see that list?" She gives me no quarter.:H

Definitely my children and husband. My son who is fourteen is still a great kid--those scary teen years have not infiltrated our home. Hopefully those years will pass us by, and he'll just continue to be the excellent kid that he is. He checks in when he is out with his friends, he'll work for privileges, and he still says, "I love you, Mom". And my daughter is nine and loves to snuggle in with me every morning. It's our ritual. I think if it was up to her we'd be hanging out together every day, every chance we got. When she's grown up, she'll be one of my best friends. And then there is my husband. Simply put, I appreciate that I am lucky enough to have found a good, trustworthy partner who has fully accepted my children. It all boils down to my immediate family. Because of them, life is good.

My bed makes me happy...when i have a day off work and i wake up all warm and snuggly and its raining and grey outside.
I dont have to get up or go out and i can just chill out in my pj's all day....absolute bliss

Don't know if I should tell you this but my friend calling to tell me she caught her husband..trousers round ankles... having cyber sex.... hahahahaha!!! still laughing now, he's 60+. She thought it was funny too!
