Hi guys, how's everyone doing?, SATZ love ur new avatar
I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.

          Afternoon, army

Had a really good night's sleep and feeling very relaxed this morning (ok, it's afternoon now ). Lovely spring day as well, so the house is getting an airing.

Now, on to more serious matters....

Sorry, satz, but it will happen again....just as soon as those f*ckers think they can get away with it again, i.e. as soon as they think we've forgotten.

That's a real shame about your cancelled appointment, inchy, but please don't give up. Molly gave you some good advice.

that bird meant so fuckin much to me, it's hard to let go. very hard. it might sound stupid to those who have kids, but it was losing a child, to me. i am heartbroken over his loss.
my dogs are very precious, they are what keeps me alive right now.
          nothing else.
Sorry you lost your feathered friend, cori. We can love a bird or an animal every bit as much as a person, so it must be a difficult time for you at the moment.

Good to hear your news about Ollie, Jan. You're very lucky to have such a good outcome.

Hope the pollen count drops soon waggy so that you get some relief.

Saw on the news today that they are going to introduce a minimum price of 40p per unit of alcohol. Most alcohol costs more than that already, but unquestionably this is the thin end of the wedge and it will soon be 50p, 60p and so on. It's something that I have felt for a long time was needed and I hope it works. Something had to be done, IMHO.

I took the car on me first solo drive in nigh on 6/7 years. Had a bit of a drive up the back roads, past the airport. Into the garden centre bought some plants. Next stop the butchers and then and then friggintesco.

I am over the fecking moon with meself.

Only downside is I've got a pile of seedlings to plant and had to put a load of shopping away.

                  Aww thanks Waggers,

I never lost me licence but I didn't half loose me confidence.

I'm off to see my Aunt in the morning for coffee without having to arrange for Mr JC to give me a lift.

Oh and have I told you how lovely it is to have you back, Waggeroo:l

Oh, well done JC! :goodjob: Sounds like you've had a busy afternoon then.

                    Hello waggy

Been repotting houseplants this afternoon. I put them all in the hall, which is the only room in the house that's not too warm and dry for them. So the hall is looking VERY green

Being able to drive is great for your independence, jackie. I'm actually increasingly trying to avoid using the car these days cos petrol is SO expensive. It hit a new record price today. :upset:

Just been orff to the land of google. It's now around ?6.40 ($10.10) a gallon.

Last time Mr JC filled the tank it cost ?83 ($130 ish) and his left kidney.

Oh and our plants and seedlings are in the conservatory before being sent out to see if they survive the cold.
