    pshyco -status on Alcoholic?

    Hi Dixon

I feel for you in your plight... you could try AA, but as English is not your first language, you could also try many of the free English Language Programs that are available in the UK. That way you could meet other people, stem the lonliness and become more proficient in English...

    Just a thought

      Dear Patrice,
Of course I am in quandary ! you know me very well and seeking a friend's help .I mean the help of support, sharing of experience, being a true lover to ones life etc..Regarding the language , Yes I have to learn many slang words of native speaker otherwise I can communicate my feelings if I get any . Actually looking for a community who can help me .
Thanks Patrice for your lovely words

        pshyco -status on Alcoholic?

Hi Dixon. I have never even been to the UK and I only speak English. I am working on a school project, however, that took me on an adventure where I discovered Spanish speaking AA meetings right here in my town. Anyone who speaks Spanish as their primary language, and has a desire to stop drinking is welcome there. All the meetings are in Spanish!!

I don't know what your first language is, and if there is a large community in the UK of people speaking that language. If there is a large community, there might be AA in your native language?

Another option would be to look for AA on-line meetings in your native language. I personally like the "face to face" support and the ability to make new sober friends right here where I live. However, I would surely try on-line AA meetings if I didn't have face to face meetings I could go to.

Kate also raised a good point about individual counseling or group therapy. Is that something you could look into? I see you reaching out again and again for help. My hope for you is that you find your way out. :l
