    What's your most SATISFYING AF drink?

    I have to say that mine is coffee, with cream and sugar. I don't drink it all the time, but when I do, it's the best! MMMMMMM

    I bought some Pelegrino Limonata today, and that's pretty tasty. It is a fizzy lemon drink...a little bitter, a little sweet. Would make a great mixer!:H:H:H

    Also am going to try this for special occasions, or the occasional treat: frozen limeaid and frozen cherry or raspberry drink....with lemon-lime soda. Pour a little limeade and a little cherry or raspberry frozen drink (a bit thawed before) into a tall glass, fill with chipped ice and then lemon-lime soda. Looks pretty too!

    Im still a huge fan of the seltzer waters...with some fresh limes/lemons I cant even drink normal water anymore

      Coffee in the morning...I prefer dark roasts. For the afternoon, Gingerade Kombucha. My absolute fave!

        What's your most SATISFYING AF drink?

        Hey Library girl, certainly coffee in the morning !

        My favourite is club soda, with some ice cubes, and than pour a littel rub red, grapefruit cocktail juice in.

        The other thing I do, is keep one of those plastic limes in the fridge, and I add a squeeze of lime juice to a club soda when I open it. Like Nelz says, I hardly drink any water - I love the cold soda water.

          Okay so I have never heard of kombucha, so have to google. then have to sign up for free how to e-book. I have never tried kombucha, must find someone in area who sells/makes it. See what this site does to people!!!!

            Soda Water, squeeze of lemon or lime.....yummy! Does the trick every time!!!!!

              What's your most SATISFYING AF drink?

              I love coffee and seltzer water; they are my go to drink.

              But my new favorite is to prepare some good herbal tea, add stevia with lots of lemons. (Not too much stevia.) I drink this cold with ice and hot. Another thing I do a lot in the morning to avoid having too much coffee is prepare hot water with the juice of one lemon and a little stevia. When I was doing a cleanse not too long ago, one of the first things in the morning to drink was the juice of two lemons with water. I have kept this part in arsenal because it really tastes good.

                What's your most SATISFYING AF drink?

                Pepsi is my most favorite AF drink, but I also like Sherry Temples, choclate milk, other pop (not coke or diet coke) milk. Not much of a water fan but I do try to drink some water and/or suck on some ice chips. Oh and juice (Pat. pineapple, fruit punch etc.)
                I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

                Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

                Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

                  Water. I drink about a gallon a day (boring huh?)
                  Sometimes I'll have sparkling mineral water with lime or berry flavor.

                    What's your most SATISFYING AF drink?

                    To replace AL, I usually succumb to a naturally flavored seltzer by the company Polar Seltzer. It comes in yummy flavors and even seasonal ones like in the summer, they have a pina colada one (looking forward to that one when it is back on the shelves) and around Christmas they have an eggnog one..which is actually pretty good in a weird way. What I like about this drink is that it is cheap, it is calorie, sodium and carb free...it is naturally flavored and so doesn't contain artificial sweetners. Now, having said all of that, I do enjoy diet lime flavored tonic water over ice with a fresh sqeeze of lime served in a nice glass...or a new found favorite, diet Goslings Ginger Beer with lime. This is actually better than any AL drink...seriously. Again, no calories or carbs. BUT, I don't do this everyday as it has artificial sweetner in it and I do those in moderation. So, that's my drink list right now and I never run low!!! It's also pennies to buy compared to the daily consumptin of a bottle of red wine would would be about 5-10 dollars a day, depending on whether or not I was "splurging" on a good bottle!

                        Nice hot cuppa tea in the morning and a nice cuppa at night, never thought i could ever enjoy a cup of tea again, but i love it now !

                          I love the fizzies too, so I make my sugarfree lemonade with it. And no side effects I know of.

                            Homemade strawberry lemonade with fresh basil. The yummiest drink I've ever tasted. Simply orgasmic! I posted a couple of recipes in the March Motivators thread. You can also Google recipes.

                              Oh. I LOVE that, UW. And this is high time for strawberries here. I'll never forget, though, the taste of wild strawberries. My aunt told me that on the day my grandfather was dying, she was 5 and my mother was 8 and the only ones at home, my grandmother sent them running to a neighbor for help, but my aunt kept seeing strawberries on the path and wanted to pick them. Momma would pull her along, saying 'Daddy's hurt. We gotta run.' Sort of sticks in my memory now when I eat them. But I love fresh herbs in anything, and that combination is perfect.
