When I put my back-pack on in Sydney last week, I felt suddenly full of determination that this year or next we will live this dream!! So tomorrow (once the easter eggs are bought ) we are on a very strict savings regime and hopefully will have a trip in September-October.

Hiya G. No, I just climb or run many of the trails. I did often take the mountain bike but since my accident and then the leg issue that's out of my comfort zone. Have a GREAT day !

              Hiya TF and Gster.

I woke up thinking about Caramel Frappacinos and Pancakes. So I drove to my nearest Starbucks (35 to 40 minutes away) to secure a Caramel Frappacino. It was AMAZING! Totally worth the drive. And it is a beauty of a day out there on the water and beaches. Brought back some goodies for hubs and am now shopping ebay for baby stuff. I know you Ozzies are not huge fans of Starbucks, but I throb throb throb them.
Talked to a friends back in California yesterday who I have not talked to in a year. Was positively lovely. Had a not so good dinner from Montezumas last night. I think that is the last time I give them a go, they're awful except for their chips and salsas. I'm better of with Techies lunch.

                  Great photos Techie!
Happy, if he is in wgtn and MIA then I reckon he'll be with all the other 13 year olds -would you like me to drive down there and listen for the kid with the Aussie accent ? If I yelled " locust - your mum has eyes where you didn't know she had them and can see everything you are doing" what do you think his reaction would be?!:H

Hot happy buns have been consumed and boy wants to do a movie marathon . Is currently trying to choose between lord of the rings, Star wars or home alone. I tried to talk him into morse but he wouldn't have a bar of it :H However I thought it was a sign of his increasing maturity that he argued against it on rational grounds ("we won't have time to get through all of them") rather than just because he doesn't like them. I love watching kids becoming independent people

                    Ker-IST you lot can yammer.
I had a feeling about this and thought I'd get all the must-do's done before I logged on.

Have decided to have a bit of a cooking day. Got a great recipe for beetroot relish this week.....but....have you ever tried to source horseradish on good friday before?????

At least I'm not trying to source Smirnoff like previous years.

Can anyone remember the Easter ritual of waking up on Good Friday..... hung over to shit.......plastering concealer makeup on and heading out for a hair of the dog before you died ......and remembering in a sweaty panic that the bottle-O is closed????

Thankyou God, Jesus and the Easter Bunny for sobriety....that's what I'm taking from Easter.

Right well enough Easter reflection. it seems I have a buttload of reading back to do.

                          Nope.
I don't 'get it' about Starbucks.
No disrespect to our mates, but it doesn't taste any diffo to me.
But they don't have to like Vegemite so that's OK.

Yes bridge, you can keep your vegemite, I will keep the starbucks.
TF, I didn't get starbucks either for awhile, but once your addicted, it's all over. Their whip cream covered in caramel is like crack cocaine for me.

I have done a whole lotta nothing today, and I am proud of it!
