BTW Heston style meals are over rated,
however I did score points with the husband for actually giving it a go.
    HAH!
I tried boiling eggs the way he said. They turned out hard, so tried again and halved the time... they turned out almost as hard. So, I'm going back to how my mum taught me. AND I do my scrambled eggs better than him too... as Missy and Happs will agree, and I think Sunny too.

      Far out TF! Very clever!!

I managed to get a late appointment for a hair wash and blow dry ... wouldn't normally do this, but thought that feeling a bit mediocre prior to 50th birthday celebrations (and being a more cheerful dinner companion tonight!) warranted some extra expenditure

Good stuff Missy on the walk, nice to see you RC and Rags.

Tawns I got the Soy and Linseed. Also bought dates and dried apricots. Have the walnuts from MIL's tree so I am going to experiment. In bakery any hints most welcome...

I sort of agree with you there. But if I had the dosh, I wouldn't mind having a meal at The Fat Dusk.... I think it would be a weird experience.

I love your kitchen. Covet is more the word really.

What flavours did you get? After yesty's success I am off to buy more today so we have variety...its a slippery slope this bakery business...
It is indeed a covetous kitchen.

                Arvo all,

Mr.G - the fireplace bricks are old hand-made ordinary bricks, the bigger ones to the right are mud. I paint everything with a lime wash - cheap as. And I will attend to the tray straightage.

It's just an ornamental grape covering the east wall of the froghouse with a bit of cement arty-fartage.

                IT IS GORGEOUS!!!!

Good. This is what it looked like at lunch today: Good ham, apologies for the Coon slices but I figured the home-made pickled cuckes ought to get some brownie points.

Happs, Just looking at your pics. Aren’t your girls in lovely condition now. They will be very content I think.

Your veggie garden is WONDERFUL. As is your loaf.

Hi Sunny. Hi Bridge, Tawny Mr G Jac, and EVERYONE else…

Dog that looks goooood. Same recipe? The local Woolies has 4 or 5 varities and 10 kilo sacks of the Crusty White.

I reckon I'll put the fruit through on the second proving, I'm following the box directions.
