    Life is a bit of a sh*t right now so I'm doing you all a favor and not sharing the gloom... I'll be back when I'm not such a boring old hag!!!!

          OK ..... big news for the day was that the painters finished!!!

          Except for one bit of wood, which needs replacing before it can be finished.

          However, apparently the scaffolders are snowed under, so it may not be until next week before we can look out our windows again :H

          And then the task of repairing the garden can begin!

          I have had a very nice day doing nothing in particular ....... two long walks, a couple of chapters of my book, and quite a lot of chilled out time with Mr B and cats.

          Oh, and I forgot to mention, Mr B sent me 50 red roses. Yep, that's right - 50!!!! Because I don't like cake, it was in lieu of candles .........

          Cant wait till I'm 80 :H:H

                Any update on Mr HApps?

                Nicey, one of the things that I really like about this thread is that we do play ostoy most ofthe time. There is a squabble every now and then, but they blow over quickly.

                Tip - thanks for the b'day greetings and to you and Tawny for the math jokes!! Actually I had to laugh ....... Mr B's boy had a very interesting math/science assignment set for him over the holidays. It was a question about what they could apply from their knowledge in the first term, to answer the following question: Looking at the final scenes from the Titanic movie, who would have drowned first - Leo or Kate???

                  Hello you lovely lot. Mr Happs is ok, all this time I thought he was just turning into a mean, grumpy old shit and it turns out hes been in pain for the last two months and tired and miserable and the doctor has said if he doesnt rest he is in for it BIG TIME...so...the chest pains, hands that cant grip properly, overall body aches etc are the Barmah Forest virus still...he is home for now while I work out what the best plan is. Phew!

                  And I really havent been an attentive wife all day, I kind of got it all sorted then dumped him home and ran off to work.....I have the sort of boss who when you say you or someone else has something they get it too...

                      Hope Mr Haps is coming along better now.

                      Hubs is in the kitchen making dinner. I am in the mood for an ice cream Sunday though, which won't be happening. I might post a belly pic soon. I find now that I am almost done working, and everything is ready, I am a bit bored. I might start reading all the books on the shelves I have not read yet, and save my kindle for the hospital.
