Underoos, Doodyheads and their Dogs, April

    Oops, late check back in.
    Pasta with veggies, what else?!
Haps, I'm not a big help, but the lesson of the day for me is if something upsets you, tell the other person it's not really okay with you. He probably didn't know it was upsetting and just thought you were at ultra cool mom status.
Corri and gster, hope sleep treats you well.

Morning Noicey, Sunny, Happy, and doodyheads everywhere,

The sky is blue, and i love you.

Hope you're not doing it too hard today out there Sunny and are able to take the load off your feet periodically!

What a glorious, glorious morning it is here! I've just had me meditation/mindfulness session out in the yard in the beautiful warm sun, with the occassional dew drop from an outstretched avocado branch high above, gently making it's little way down to mother earth, via my big scone and left bare foot.

The sky is blue, and i love you.

Wishing all possums a morevellous day. Remember.......a grudge is a place you park your car.

                Morning undies.
Young Denis (sigh!) was wearing glasses this am down at the sheds, but it made him look even cuter. This is going to be highly entertaining.

G, haven't dared to offer vegemite so far, didn't want to give the young fella nightmares. All in good time, all in good time.

I am going to be a tad lucky Ronnie.....maybe I could sneak a widdle photo of him......hmm.

Another sunny day here in the West. I'm over them. Can't wait for some rain. It's that time of year where farmers are all positive & eager & like kids at Chrissy time, but it's short-lived & rapidly turns to shit, as it's either too dry or they're working too hard. What a life!! Bloody farmers!
                Catch you all later.

G, have you got any avocado fruiting yet? & are you sure it was dew & not birdy wee wees?

Cori - it isn't even my birthday and I want a Denis (sigh) of my very own!!!

Mr G - it IS a gorgeous, gorgeous day and it makes my heart glad to see you are immersed in it! Big salute....

Hope the heartburn has subsided sunny.

                  Hugs to everyone!

                        Hiya All

I am back and just about survived the trip solo with 3 kids. I couldn't log on when in Ireland and Cori, thanks, just got your pm. My father is the type to check my logon history just because he can.

The kids were good enough but there is no easy way to transport a toddler to the other side of the world. The older two are still sleeping off the jetlag but are about to be dragged out of bed because we have to pick daddy up from the airport soon.

Will check back later to read all the gossip. Cori - I can't put gorgeous and the name dennis together in my head, you will have to get a sneaky pic.

Hey Ella!! I have been wondering about you & with my usual forgetful selfishness, didn't realise you've been away!!! I've been thinking about you cos this Young Denis (sigh! with 1 "n" thanks) , is from Kerry. I will try to get a candid shot of him. Sneaky. Yesssssssss.

                            Hello Undies,

I have a strange question but I hope some of you will answer.

My granddaughter has to do a science project and she wants to do one about Great White sharks. She is young and doesn't understand that a Science Project means a bit more than just "something about sharks.."

I am thinking those of you in Australia or New Zealand can point us to some websites about the studies they are doing on great whites.

The studies they have been doing over the last few years are very enlightening but, because we are talking about a science project, we need to narrow it down. I vaguely recall some work about safety for divers and great whites.

Anyway, I would appreciate any information you can point me to. I can Google with the best of them but I would very much appreciate some pointers from those "down under" who live with them in their waters, just like the Californians.

                            Thank you in advance,
                            Cindi

Hiya Cindy - I don't live in shark country but I recall Ron and Valerie Taylor are experts.

There are some more good links via old Mrs. Google. Rags would probably be the person to speak to but she's scuba diving in Borneo at the moment ... as one does.

Sorry Undies - I'll be back later to do a proper post ... got paint drying over the hole ...

Home now and chucking a sickie tomorrow. Last day is Sunday.
Cold and rainy and lovely snuggle weather. Heartburn carrying itself into today. Skipping dinner at this point.
Best part about today was when the woman I met with cancer while buying baby clothes the other day, came to my work. She wanted to apologize for touching my belly. She said she will get to New Zealand as soon as she can to see her daughter, and soon to be baby. I told her no apology needed, gave her my phone number and said she better come over as soon as she can for tea, or to meet baby, or a chat. She is having a brain tumor removed next week and she was giving her all to not fall apart. I said my family lives far away and I would love for her to come visit anytime she is lonely and is thinking of her daughter. Lovely really. She promised to call after she recovers from her surgery!

Worst part of day. Boss calls to say he wants me to come in to work next week when he is up here from Sydney. I said I probably could. After thinking about it, said screw it. He always ask me to come in on my days off, and I gave him my last day weeks ago. He gives me zero support, so I am going to have an appointment last minute that day and not make it. He knows my last day is Sunday, and sticking to it.
