            Morning kiddies...I mean Undies...

My action packed day of sport, sport and more sport- that of the locust - looks likely to be cancelled, it has rained all night...I wonder what happened to the days when we played in all weather, insurance maybe? And now I do sound like an old fart...

Sunny - you are right to tell your boss to stuff it up his jumper ...... this is the time for you to be taking it easy and looking after yourself and bub. That story about the woman you met in the supermarket was just lovely - and such a lovely gesture that you made. :l

thanks for the cookbooks link Happy!! Its raining here too. I was going to plant some plants this morning but the guys arrived to pull down the scaffolding so I can't get to here I was going to plant them. It is soooooo nice to be able to look out the window without looking at a whole lot of steel poles!

Hi Missy. If I remember you have a Garmin sport watch. It is the gps model? I had one but lost it while I was in Singapore. I just purchased the Timex Global Trainer and I'm wishing I has my Garmin back. Thoughts?

                      Oh yeah...HI UNDIES!!!!

Hi Techie - yes, I do have the garmin and it is the gps model, but I have decided that it isn't good value for money. It actually takes at least 3-4 minutes to connect to satellites and the user interface is quite clumsy. Also, irritatingly, the strap broke after not much use, so now I have to carry it in my hand!

I've been looking for something else, but haven't yet found anything that suits my needs (mainly that it isn't too complicated!!)

The Timex is the same. It takes too many minutes to find a way point. Once it does I like it. I need the backtrack feature as I can go off trail a lot. The Timex allows you to split screen but you need the Hubble Telescope to see the watch face while on the move.

Ha ha Miss Behaving - as a former kiwi I am endlessly amused by the marmite shortage stories. Panic! Kiwi new Black Gold Standard!

Yes G, SBS does rock but what specifically? (Sorry I probably missed that.) I do some work for them so am a biased fan

Hope you all had a good night. It's Saturday but I'm pretending it's a work day... so much to do before holiday...

                              Morning everyone.
Well finally we're getting a bit of that special word - precipitation. Just a touch, but it might just turn into autumn today!

Would anyone like to buy a feral kitten?!! This wicked little feline is going nuclear every bloody morning & even the dogs look flummoxed (yesssss! I used the word!)

Mother coming today, so we can get some bulk cooking in for the fellas for seeding. Young Denis (sigh!) has a fairly HUGE appetite, bless his irish socks. I'm actually looking forward to her visit, as she hasn't yet met magpie & the kitten....& thus the experience the mass chaos that ensues every morning when all creatures great & small congregate on the patio.

Missy, that's funny 'bout the marmite shortage!!!
LillyE, that's great stuff on your AF days, you go girl!
Sunny, you are so kind for that woman....good on ya.
To all the others : Ronnie, Nicey, TF,Bridge,Reg,G bloke, Happy,Ella, & visiting superstars such as Techie & Cinders, have a good weekend.

I might not get a chance to come back on for a while, as I'll be going away on Tues for a week.....yay!

                              Take care everyone.

Mmmm, rain cancels play so apart from one locust drop off to school, I'm a bit like Lilly and trying to get work done...pretending its a work day is not working so far...

Dodged by the shop and bought meat for a casserole which shall become a pie...really SHOULD be reconciling.....nah, cooking wins...
