Much better thanks Froglette...lot of tenshun amongst the threads today, so thought I might turn my mind to work - well sort of...with a few sprints out to the garden and an Undies inspection or three.
Bad news on the egg front here at the mo too...

Yep - read all that too.
OK - Since I accidentally found they adore canary seed, I've used that as their daily treat - their Smarties, if you like. I put about a tablespoon into a little bowl and they completely gobble it up. So, this is the ideal way to get garlic and the opened fish oil capsule into them.

Canary seed eh? I think I'll have the most expensive non egg producing chooks in Brizzy...they are looking rather spectacular though. Thank dog I can talk about them here, in the real world peoples eyes glaze over when you talk about stuff like that...thats the beauty of it I guess.

Just woke up. I called in sick last night. Thing is, I actually have a cold or something. Anyways, I got to sleep A LOT which was amazing. Going to bake cookie brownie bars today. Just not in the mood to eat them. Hope you all are enjoying the day!

Dog, that Mr.G's a busy boy! Don't know how he does it ...
Raggsy - what news of Sebastian?
Sunny - enjoy your sickie.
Happs - I figure yours have been through the wars in their previous life and are prolly concentrating on just growing their feathers back. I also figure that mine gave me a fantastic first year and deserve a rest. Hard-arsed farmers wives would probably knock 'em on the head now. I bought them in June so I expect new point-of-lay pullets will be available then. I throb my chookies.

I reckon Raggsy's passed out somewhere.

Then she taught my little Buddhists the Wellington Song, met Sebastian, helped glue stuff in their exercise books, handed out Star of the Week Awards, and really helped me out this morning, plus gave me a few tips of child development. Lets hear it for Missy!!!

.restaurant woes continued when, after windowshopping Berry I took the wrong road to Gerroa but no worries, got there via a quick stop at 7 mile beach where Mr G I didn't get a face pic of Missy as I left the SD card in the computer at home. Get to Gerroa only to find the cafe closed! Grit teeth, think furiously then say well we'll have lunch in the Gong. Which we did. Missy had prawn laksa and I had chicken laksa, and will be having chicken laksa leftovers for dinner tonight, while Mr Rags will have left over last nights dinner.

Missy is a very attentive student. She now knows that peaches and cream is not necessarily a dessert, that dragon teeth are not restricted to being housed in museums and warrigal greens is not a basketball team.
She should be boarding the plane right now.
Bye Bye Missy,
Come back soon... but please make it a Thursday or Friday when the restaurants are open!
