Underoos, Doodyheads and their Dogs, April

great times are being had in our front drive. It involved some Polish painters and our Russian cleaners. They found some language in common and I dont think that the conversation was a friendly one. Don't they all know I'm on leave??

Houses have been cleaned off and ready for painting! They look so much better already!! But the smell of ammonia is a bit ever-present - both inside and out!!

Open your windows and doors and let the Wellington wind clear out the odours.....

Oooh, no love lost between Poles and Russians!

        Arvo all,

Turned out to be a ripper of a day and I achieved.

Rags - WTF are Allianz on about? Why do they not cover that? Isn't that exactly why you take out insurance? I'd be spewing BIG time.

Sunny - have you bought all your baby 'stuff' yet? Does someone give you a list of things you 'must have'?

        Mojo - brilliant!

Happs, Missy, Bridge, MrG ... waving madly in your general direction.

Been a bit flat because my old mum is losing the plot big time. What I took for a bit of well-deserved forgetfulness is turning into sad stuff. Like, ... she can't remember the names of her grand-children and she thinks I'm her sister. It's horrible to watch. It reminds me of when we used to get pissed and not remember what we did the night before ... this now seems like she can't remember what she's done for the last ten years before. The thought that this might happen to me one day scares me shitless.

On a brighter note - there's a pair of Welcome Swallows sitting on a beam above my head having a most melodious conversation. Very pretty.

Hi Undies, that really is sad Tawny, my nan is just the same. Life's circle keeps turning and I am starting to wonder where all the years keep going so fast.

              Hi Tawny,
Allianz… Mr Rags is going to contact them to try to find out what on earth is going on. I’m a bit concerned as if we do have to pay, we’re going to have to come up many thousands of dollars. Keep you informed.

Be comforted that you are doing the very best you can for her. It is so much worse for you than your mum. Is she happy, comfortable and not in pain?

Funnily, it was only last week I asked Mr Rags what will we do if I get dementia . It scares me too. That, and pain or being like my FIL make me fearful.
Mr Rags said he’ll deal with it if and when it happens. He doesn’t like what if scenarios.

Don’t let the swallows shit on you.

Awe, you guys are so lovely. Thank you. It's a bit easier not drinking when your baby is depending on you to be healthy. Now ice cream is another story.

                        HI Y?ll,
Mumof Two, WTG on 60 days. That is an awesome milestone!

Home from work and just putting my feet up. 11 hour day and I will not be missing it.

TF, thinking of you! Alzheimer's runs in my family.
Have bought almost all the million necessities you need for a baby There's a list online I am checking off. Have bought everything second hand too and am proud of it.

Gster, Haps, and Bridge, thanks for all your lovely words.

Rags, I would be lacing up my boxing gloves to go all the rounds with Allianz.

Nup, your baby is depending completely on YOU to be healthy.
The Undies are just a support group.
                          For both of youy.
                          And Mr Sunny too.

Opps, did you mean you as in you Sunny, or you as in Undies... Isn't the english language so confusing at times.!
Remind me to tell you why I hate french... because of the way I wrote a sentence in first year at high school for french kulcha and got failed as the teacher misunderstood the english language....

Hey Mojo! Congratulations on 60 + days AF. Glad to hear you say your thoughts on booze are changing, which i'm presuming means you give it less thought these days? Bravo!

I think there's another undie coming up to 60 days soon too?...........

Have a beaut night everyone. G'day KT. Hope you're well mate.

ABC 2 at 8:30 has The Eiger. Not everyone's cup of tea, but a zillion years ago Mr Rags and I were in training to go up the( very easy by comparison to the north face ) east face of the Eiger.
Another dream unfullfilled. SO I'll tune in to ABC instead
