I've just been invited to a small 80th birthday party. There must be some happy medium surely?

I'm going to get a look at that book too Missy.

And regarding rewriting the rules, why not? They were other people's rules to start of with. Pffft......
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Hello undies, I raise you a 70th. Next week and NO not my own before some smarty asks.

Fellow garden people (fairly new to it myself) its spring here, we had a couple of glorious weeks in the mid 20s so I planted a nice row lovely plants which weren't far off blooming. That was until last week when a couple of days hailstones and freezing winds committed murder most foul on them all :boohoo: There is a saying here 'if you dont like the weather wait ten minutes it will change'.

MB, I am going to download that book and read it. I love everything San Francisco.

              Home from work. YAY.
Sunny ...... if you love SF, that series of books will have you laughing and smiling all the way until baby is born. It was originally written as a series in a paper but got a cult following. I got started on it after my first visit to SF in the mid 80s, staying with the brother of a very good friend. It was a time of awakening for me. I love SF as well.

His mate Con made an inversion that was a bit suss, as he showed numerous plants to a vendor who became quite tranquil after sampling the cultivation. Must admit though it WAS mostly family - of which mine is huge - and various friends asked for their culinary prowess....if you could make decent chocolate crackles you had an invite baby....

Do you know something strange? Back then I didnt lay into it...the grog not the chocolate crackles...finally asked myself something, you gave up drinking for 3 pregnancies and feeding the locusts for a year a piece after, to do the best thing for them health wise. And you cant do this for yourself now? So...roll on at least 6 years for me as payback. Me looking after me. And that has a roll on for everyone.

I've just watched two (2) separate cooking shows featuring frogs. That.is.so.wrong.

Depends. Were the frogs being eaten or were they the chefs?
