Underoos, Doodyheads and their Dogs, April

    Evening all,

Great to see you Starters and Cinders!

Just back from me mums birthday. She had a hoot, and i'm sure she was rapt to see us brothers there together under the same roof for once. My bro cooked dinner, and i thought of everyone here when he suggested a lamington after dinner. I chuckled, but he was serious, and followed through with a sort of half sized one which had a thin 'line' of jam running through the middle, with the overall effect being respectable.

Off to the Euro lounge to see if there are any chicks.

    Yo Fruity!

Love it that your mum had her three boys together G. I'm sure it will have been very special for her. Next time it is expected let us know and we will provide proper lamingtons (complete with chocolate and with cream on top!)

Happy - love the cats :-)

Thanks Missy. Yeah, these lamingtons looked like some 'modern' interpretation. Hopeless.
Thanks for the link. Geez, the presenter is a bit of a corker. Yes, i did listen to what she had to say......

Um, either a kangaroo on a faraway rock, grazing as the sun rose, or a steam mop.

              Morning everyone,

              Ah, i remember this feeling.......

As long as it wasn't your surgeon phoning again, all is good I think....

Has anyone ever had a crack at mosaic making before?

I had a nice chat with my cousin yesty, who has inspired me to give it a go, and now I'm obsessed with the concept. How lovely would it be to spend winter evenings rugged up creating stuff?
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Morning kids, I have to work for about 5 hours. Nice to see so many in the drawer this morning.
Techie, my guess is a rooster crowing.
Gster, sounds like a good party for your mom.
                  Morning MB!
Hope you all enjoy your Saturdays!

                      Yes!

Easypeasy and no losers, just winners and grinners. I'm no expert, but have done a couple. Get an old bucket (for tiles), some eye protection, i.e. goggles that cover yer eyes TOTALLY for when you cut/break tiles, some tile cutters, mosaic adhesive, grout for the gaps, a little hammer to break up tiles, gloves, goggles, eye protection, goggles, and oh yeah, some tiles. All of which you can get at Bunnings reasonably cheaply. But for tiles, source some broken seconds etc from rubbish at tile joints, house reno sites, or to start now, tiles from Bunnings at a cost. Lots of colours to enjoy along with yer mirror tiles too. And what a cool gift for someone. Mosaic mirrors are a great classic to start. (?)

                      Hi Sunny!

                      Roight, out of here....Yo!
