Approx 1.5hrs from Melb. in Daylesford (another pretty town much bigger than Maldon) is The Lake House. Luxury Spa Hotel | Daylesford Accommodation | Daylesford Day Spa | Wedding Location & Conference Centre - Lakehouse

Haven't stayed there but eaten in their fantastic restaurant. It's an expensive but very classy place

Guess it all depends on how generous auntie is ...

Reporting also that Rags Delish diary recipe Moroccan red lentil and lamb stew is gorgi....just had some leftovers for lunch. As successful as the bread baking was not. Lucky I am like a little dog in monkey pjs with a bone and will retry bread with the new secret source. Or flour as the case may be.
