Here is last nights dinner.
Woolies had no ginger so I used Japanese pink pickled instead.
Used pataks papa daoms and some Pataks curry i found at the back of the fridge. Sunrice rice. BTW next time you Undies are in the rice aisle, have a read of the metalic blue TILDA rice packet... they have 10,000 farmers and know each one personally by name... and so they should at $7.95 a small packet... maybe each grain has a name too.
As it made quite a bit of sauce, I zapped 3 chook legs I had in the freezer, put a slice in them to absorb the juices and added them to the mix. The whole thing was a bit mild for me, but tasty. Mr Rags will be having leftovers tonight as I'm just about to shower and up to Sydney for haircut anfd foils, then dinner with my mate and stay overnight at his little 1 beddder.

Thanks again, TF. I'm leaning toward Maldon. Everything is so UITA just now (up in the air), his great aunt just died, his grandmother is hovering, and I want to do a little nice thing that, should something happen and IT not happen, no one suffers.
Hey, Rags - I just read a recipe from "Cooks Illustrated," THE magazine for serious ovarie chefs, for home-made naan. I can do chapati, I can even do dosa, if there's a rooly good reason. But I've never done naan at home. I'll let you know how it goes.
