I gotta be out of my mind.
I'm on the 3rd day of a 'Heston Bloomenthal' Shephards Pie.
Made the 6 hour Lamb Stock on Monday,
Simmered the 8 hour Shanks in the stock Tuesday.
Tonite is finally cook it and eat.
I sure hope it's good,
Other wise it's back to packet stock and 30 minute recipes.

but the funny thing is I cooked the chicken to death on Monday night 'cos I was so focused on the Lamb Stock.
It was so dried out, even the gravy couldn't hide it.

Hestons recipes are amazing. I just gawk in awe at them, I wouldn't even take the time to attempt it. SO I am now in awe of you rabbito.

Home finally. I ordered something from ebay for the baby but the dogs escaped and opened it before I got home. Lets just say it doesn't look as useful as it did in the online auction. Just glad to be home. Dinner will equal something that goes in and out of the oven.

My 'Pumpkin Hour' is when I'm preparing dinner,
once that's done and the husband is home I'm fine.

So dinner is in the oven, husband is home and I'm relaxing with a nice 'coffee'
