          Evening Roo's,

Yeah Sunny, what are you doing with that pasta? I've just had an antipasto/roast veg concoction down the road. Bloody terrific.

Noicey, i'm not sure whether to laugh or cry at your chook and duck post! :H:upset: That chook looks evil Frog, evil i tell's ya. She knows somethin and she's not saying. I know her kind!.....;-)

Re yesty, you could yap via group p.m. if you're stressed.

Have a maaarvellous night all. (As an aside, or adjunct even, if you will, I think i might have qualified for a little loan i'm after. Probably not a big deal to many folk, but for me, this is a cool step forward from days of yore.)

Undies? I need some help with something not Barbie related...its got me between really upset and really angry....and I'd to talk about it...

Locust came home and was telling a story about sharing funny stories with mates about being told about sex. In the course of saying it he drops in "well I didnt know if she was drunk or not"....

I wasnt. This story happened a long time before things got that bad. BUT does it ever go away?

Dont know if this makes sense, so I am just going to hit post and see what comes back.

Hi Happs. I'll have a crack.

From what i have seen and see in my family life, and with people who know my drinking history/drunken ways and my then classic unreliability, it just takes time to rebuild the trust, and to get back peoples confidence in us again. It's a bummer for us, as we try so hard, and put in so much effort to make the huge, heroic changes that we do, and sometimes it seems no-one else close to us is noticing. I think other folk, even those closest, have no idea what a 'do or die' journey we are on. I think it's like many areas of life where consistency is key. Our AF consistency takes however long it's gonna take for others to see that we've changed i reckon.

Just my boofhead thoughts for whatever they're worth.

And I'm sure locusts and Mr H are also very, very proud of you, secretly or otherwise.

Thanks G. I really didnt think I wanted recognition, so maybe I do?? At any rate its like the very good early days with my boys got blotted out by the bad ones. And I wasnt as good a functioning alkie as I thought I was.

Yep. I am a gross underperformer when on the turps, even though i'd think (kid myself) i was doing well! I also had NO idea how much i stank of booze the next day when not drinking. I didn't realise it came out through the pores of my skin big time for all to experience!

I love that photo of the chook TF. They are such a beautiful bird, chookies, with soooo much personality.
Nicey, your story was pretty funny, & I really hope you can face your fears one day & stare face to beak with a lovin' chookin.
Stoopid stoopid stoopid puter connectivity. It is so sloooooooowwwwwwww, & mostly I cannot get on at all! Blah.
I picked up our new worker for seeding today - Irish, name of Denis. Like previous workers have been, I sort of expected a plumpish, pale, dentally- challenged fella....

Well bugga me. There was this tall, strapping, LEAN (WASHBOARD abs holy shit!!!!) young man with sparkling blue eyes & GOOD TEETH... o my o my, I am blessed with some eye candy for the next 6 weeks. Bliss. If only I wasn't twice his age & married....sigh.

I can't really comment comfortably on the sex & drunk stuff, happy, some things are just a bit raw for me in that department.

TF,did ya fix that hole in your wall? Was that a rendered concrete with STRAW stuffing? Jay-zeus, I'd like to see you house.

Sunny, isn't homemade pasta the best. Bridge, Reg, G-bloke,Missy, Ronnie, Nicey, all of you, just be well.

MoJo, if you're reading, I will pm you shortly.:l

My Mum is coming for a few days on Fri, so I doubt I'll be able to get on AGAIN.....the woman is a Mahjong fanatic. But I'm pleased to announce that she can help me keep off the piss, which is my secret ulterior motive for having her. Selfish, but I will use all my ammunition if I have to. It reminded me Reg, when I read your post, how much you love your Mum, I wish I could voice my "everything" to mine.....but still cannot talk openly to her.

Techie, thanks for your post about the viral stuff. I must contact our USP & whinge about this.

You know i've never once used the word "flummoxed" in vocal or written speech. Weird.

y'know what Young Denis & i spoke of today ?
The state of the economy in Europe. Denis said that young people are leaving Ireland in droves, to find work, mainly here in Oz. I find it sad for these young people who obviously have a good work ethic (Denis had a forklifting company) have to live thru such un-inspiring times.
But they come here with a strong sense of purpose, not frivolous or arrogant, as I find most young Aussies are. All Aussies should realise how bloody lucky we are.

                            Hiya Corrie!

Well, Dennis is in for an adventure on the land to be sure, and he's lucky to have landed there with a cool host. Whenever i see or hear of mah jong, i think of Chinese tea and peaceful reflectiveness. Must get back into yer martial arts.

Now don't forget, he may not have heard that to reject a generous dollop of vegemite on a spoon as an appetizer is unstrayan and frowned upon.

                                Dinner sounds grouse mate.
