Underoos, Doodyheads and their Dogs, April

    Morning All.
I am very B and I searching zucchini recipes.
I don't know why one would do otherwise on a Sat morning.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

            Morning Y'all,
Hope you had a good sleep Gster!
As with others it's been raining all night. I love this weather. This year I am going to purchase a robe for the cold weather that is starting, and I am excited about it.
            Cori, enjoy your mothers visit.
Lily, where are you off to?
MB, what is marmite? Is it like vegemite?
Haps, you should blow work off and have a haps day!
            Hiya Techie.

Bridge, there is an easy recipe I like for zuchinis. You just slice them lengthwise kind of thin, dip them in egg whites, then dip them in tempura coating with your choice of seasoning, and then bake for about 12 to 15 minutes. They are delish and easy. I always like stuffed zuchinnis too.

Re Crusty White - Good, full reportage required. I want to give it a go but Mr Happs is flour racist and wont let me buy it. Put photos up then I can buy the 10kg sack. They do have a Golden Wholemeal in 5kg which might stop the comment that my bread is heavy.

oh yes, having big digits is a must for me as I'm as blind as a bat!! It makes lookig for watches quite hard as most of the ones I can read are big and heavy ...... and as much as I'm not a girly-girl, I would like something a little more appropriate to the size of my wrists!

Wash your mouth out girl!!!!!!! Marmite is a national icon and nothing like vegemite (except to those that hate both of them!!) I'd send you a jar if there wasn't a national shortage :H

Sunny - they are really easy to make and very yummy. Back in the day when I was still a hippy I used to get the end-of-season cucumbers from one fo the farms up the coast and pickle them - you can google recipes for variations, but it is basically cucumbers, vinegar and dill. Easy-peasy!!

Bridge - have you ever had zucchinni cake?? I used to make this all the time when I had a proper garden!

So are you Reg - and I'm very glad about that :l LOve the Amanda Palmer link!!

Mr B and I are turning into Big Bang Theory nerds. We are having a competition tonight to see who can sing the title tune quickest and most accurately. I reckon I'll win. He always falters on the "the autotrophs began to drool" line :H:H

Hi and welcome back Lilly AND Ella. How was the trip?

And answering some previous questions -

Sunny - haven't made dill pickles but that recipe works equally well using cucumbers instead of zukes.

Beags - yes, it's cement-rendered straw bales. Have fun with your mum.

The day's turned into a pearler and I'm outski.

                              Hi there missy,
Yes I am strangely enjoying BBT also.....but my MIL is very against it being a Christian & all. Evolution? Not to her! Quite funny.

Thawing out bacon now Bridge to make those rosti for lunch.

I'd love to see your place one time TF, from the glimpses it looks very unique. Have a good day.

Our weather is offering a nice soft, gently-gently rainfall which is stilling the flies & settling the dust, thank goodness.

I'd better vaccuum up the dirty paw prints from the carpet before Mum arrives.
Teach me to leave door open at night (which i do occasionally as my poor old doggie whom is 15, does need frequent toily breaks during the night, & I get a bit sleep deprived getting up 3-4 times....Sunny I feel for you as I write this!!!).....

I've made dill pickles from cucumbers when I had a veg garden - they were great!
My zucchini plant is generously offering me 1 every week or so, & I'm consuming them with gusto.
Hey Bridge, can Thrive fert get too old to be useful?
God I LOVE being by myself. It just ROCKS.
