MB-- I have a fake beer called a Klaustenfelter (sp) sometimes -- it is a German thing and it is good-- tastes real. I get it about the courtship and hanging out having drinks-- it was not big with us but it was something we enjoyed just to hang with each other talking and having a bottle of champagne while talking and listening to music or something and like Bret-- Mark will take it out of the house but I know it is my issue- I have to deal with it myself or it will just cause problems. Lately he has been drinking less to drop weight so I see it even less-- but it has been awhile anyway-- I just struggle so with my size now and I can't get right with that because it is not healthy to be 40 lbs overweight. Like so many of us are stuck on the drinking or not here I am stuck on the same thing with the weight. The day one type thing ...

Luke gets that extra day due to catholic school tomorrow so we are going to plan something to do -- about to go cook a filet and watch Game of Thrones hopefully no horrid headaches since hubs is out 3 days next week.

No idea what that pain is...but it's awful when it's there.

Yes, Fenny. They've found countless pieces in the valley, and that's where I live. At one time they dug up some of the Indian Mound and found it was a sacred ceremonial place, and the really important were buried there. It is prehistoric, since there have been inhabitants there for eons, each tribe predating the next.

It's a 3-seater, but anyone eats, drinks, or smokes in it I will be murdered.
Have to read back more to talk to everyone else. Not hopeful about getting in to doc todays, as Mondays they are slammed, and I can't sit in the waiting room very long. I could go to urgent care, across the hall, but they'll only tell me what I already know, see an orthopedist. And I won't see the first one who treated my leg - he's a quack!

Morning, peeps. Getting sort of panicky about leaving for Hilton Head on Friday. I have to arrange for somebody to come and give my sick cat sub-q fluids a couple of times while Mrs. Fen and I are away. Additionally, there's the other things that must be done to button things down- and finally, I worry how her dad will be doing. We are vacationing with her folks for a week.

ATL, I know how frustrating weight loss can be. Have you tried EVERYTHING? If you like cabbage, try the cabbage soup diet. It helped jump-start me, and Hubs and I love the soup, though I add meat in his. Followed it strictly for one week (that's all that's recommended at a time, but it can be repeated.
Fen, I'm worried about your pain. You need to get it checked out. Wish I was close enough to look after your cat, love. Could you board it at a vet?
