Rubes-- that is why I liken the weight thing to day one over and over with the alcohol for some of the folks on MWO-- they want to quit, need to quit, make plans etc, but they know they have not done everything, because they do drink again-- it happens to the best of us-- well that is how the diet thibng is seeming with me-- I know I have not done all I can-- and why? I don't know cause it sure as heck makes me unhappy-- but it just seems I can only address so much at one time-- if I address assorted health things even on a minimum level and hubs and Luke's needs and try to be "normal" then something goes by the by...anyway, this is day one trillion on recommitting to the healthier eating etc-- I am trying to change things up since doing the same things will not work (unless I stay with them-- and then I suppose they would since that worked with not drinking), so far so good today-- suppose I need to take it hour by hour. Tomorrow I am exercising as soon as I drop Luke off. Took Luke for a haircut, had the home appariaser for the worlds longest refinance process here this morning, avoided calling my psychotic mother back, about to go throw a baseball with Luke before his baseball practice later, went half blind trying to build a ninjago lego (aren't men supposed to be the ones who like those model type things??) (I will be glad when he is back in school from this break-- the extra day for Easter Monday is stretching this out a bit much though I love the little guy)-- I am dog tired-- Mark will leave for his arbitrations later this week-- and I am sure he plays hockey at some ungodly hour tonight like 11 p.m. Hope everyone is doing okay today and no more bruises and hurt tummies :-)!!

This is for Sun, and anyone else who wants to try it. Remove the bacon, of course, Sun.
"Portobello mushroom caps are wrapped with turkey bacon, and cooked in a hot oven, then placed on buns with horseradish sauce, lettuce and tomato."
Ingredients:
2 portobello mushroom caps
4 slices turkey bacon
3 teaspoons horseradish sauce 2 leaves romaine lettuce
2 slices tomato
2 hamburger buns

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Line a cookie sheet with foil, and spray it with cooking spray. With a damp cloth, wipe the mushrooms making sure to get off any excess dirt. Trim the stem so the mushroom will sit even like a hamburger.
2. Wrap 2 pieces of turkey bacon around each mushroom, tucking the ends under the stem. Place the mushrooms on the cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove mushrooms from cookie sheet to paper towel to drain.
3. Spread 1 1/2 teaspoons of the horseradish sauce over each of the buns (adjust to your own taste). Place 1 piece of lettuce and 1 slice tomato onto each bun. Place one mushroom burger on each bun. Here's a good site for vegetarian dishes, just type in vegetarian.

X, ATL, and it DOES take work and exercise is so good for you. Take time for yourself. Your hubby does, so why not you? He needs to get closer to Luke anyway. I know he loves him, but Luke needs to know that, and that he'll always be there for him. And when he visits g'parents, do your thing. Forget the house and hubby and go off on your own. You deserve you time. Go to a spa, the one in n. Georgia is great. I'm gonna take daughter there for a mother daughter day to help soothe her down. And they are so relaxing. :hug to you honey.

Good afternoon, my peeps. How are you all doing?

I am going in for my EKG this week- being on the same AD as Sun, I really must address this thing.

I stopped by mom's house today to show her my arrowhead. She used to find them as a girl in the freshly plowed fields in the same area Tick Hollow is in. I told her that I'd found something hiking, and to hold out her hand. She refused, LOL! Then it dawned on me that she's known me my whole life, and when I have "found" things in the past, they were usually toads, frogs or snakes. :H I quickly said "It's not alive...hold out your hand!" She did, and gasped "An arrowhead!!!" LOL! She was so excited that I'd found it (and that it wasn't a toad).

Mama, my poor mother has seen it all. When I was ten, I had some pet caterpillars who eventually wove cocoons. I stashed them all in an open coffee can in my closet, curious to see what would happen. One evening, mom was putting my clothes away in my closet and she screamed! "FENNEL RENEE NUTKIN!!! (Not really, but you get my drift...all three names!) GET IN HERE AND GET THESE UGLY MOTHS OUT OF MY HOUSE!!!!" :H She's caught me smuggling in toads, tadpoles, snakes, various insects and lord knows what else. When other girls were primping and trying to snare boys, I was coming home in muddy overalls from my adventures.

ATL, Rubes has a very good point. Hubs has lots of "me" time...can't hurt for you to have a nice spa day or whatever it is that makes you happy. :h
