Morning all. Paula - I am so happy that you got to day 4 - awesome for you :l How are you feeling? You must be proud of yourself!!

Rubes - as Jan said - when can you sleep lying down again? I can't imagine trying to sleep sitting up and as for sleeping with eyes open - impossible for me !! Bird - a thundershirt is a wrap thing that I put on ben when he gets really scared - it is supposed to work on pressure points and calm him down - and it does work. Some say that a t-shirt would work as well, but I have gone with the Thundershirt and it really does help. Yes, we all survived the storms - they were wicked. None forecast for the next few days as far as I can see though thank goodness. Nora - hope all is well with you - how are things going?? Rog - I am thinking of you - you must be so busy and trying to keep your head together at the same time. :l

Fen - please update us - is J's dad going home? What are you two going to do? Are you staying up there? Hugs to you all :l

My doc just called me in a better pain med, and maybe I can stand to sleep lying down for a change. I wake up from the pain in my rib cage with the other, but sitting down all night is killing my back. It's a catch-22. But I like to believe I'm feeling better now. Thanks for all your care, but I'm fine, really. Worry about yourselves now.

X-post, Sunny one. Glad you came through alright. Yes those storms were historic, and unfortunately we're just getting started. In the town where so many died the warning siren didn't work because it was struck by lightening. I'm more afraid of tornadoes than any other storms. Everything else can be warned early except for earthquakes. And most tornadoes hit at night. We can't hear any sirens out here, so just have to keep a close eye on the sky or weather channel. And they're increasing. More often and more violent. I'll get off my :soapbox: I'm just glad you took me seriously this time. I know how you usually just go back to sleep when you hear a warning, you silly girl! :H You are NOT storm-proof, and I don't want to lose my Sunshine!
I'm going to PM some of you pics of me a few days after my head-on collision with Satan. Just don't want to post it publicly, and you'll see why. NOT my best head shot! :H (pun, pun)

FIL is meeting with the palliative care team...we will learn more later today. In the meantime, MIL wants us to attend the owners meeting in thirty mins. It now looks like we may be staying here ....not sure, yet.

Very quiet here today. Sun, that's not the worst I looked. Couldn't open my eye or walk first 5 days. Looked like a truck had hit me. Still can't ride far or drive since it hurts too much, and I am still black and blue, having a lot of trouble with my arm, too, where I hit it. I couldn't have done better drunk! :H But I AM better.
Everyone must be really busy today, which is good. Hope Fen stays over, I'm sure MIL needs them too, and they need to rest up.
Today is son's birthday. Think I'll send him my picture as a birthday card! Will tell him his birth still makes me dizzy!! :H

Fen, love, we're all here for you all, and it's great news. We know the outlook long term is not good, but he's a fighter, and this is such a great thing to have him a while longer, and willing to have the treatment. Let's all pray now it works, and gives him lots more time, maybe a miracle. He needs time to be with his loved ones, and I truly hope he can be pain-free during this.
Sun is doing well, Brett is getting the messed up car sorted and things are getting back to whatever passes for normal with MB. :H Love that girl!!
