    My best friend has just been taken to the hospital with horrible chest pains. She is the one with the aortic aneurysm. Prayers please.

      Oh my Nora. In my prayers too. That's what my Daddy had, and they fixed. My uncle (his brother) has one on his brain that's inoperable. Let us know OK?

            Nora--my mom had that-- they repaired hers-- will they repair your friends? Often they don't find before they burst-- so her knowing I guess could help.

            Paula-- I am so sorry!! Can you go to be with her? What is the prognosis? Good luck
            Up with another headache. This one is not as bad though. Maybe the meds are working some?

            Hockey team won-- they live to fight another day. And the goon who decked my favorite player was suspended 25 games! Have a good day!

              it's rainy and overcast here
              I think I spent 4 hours yesterday hunting for dust bunnies from Troublecat, but I found most of them.....made me sad
              big meeting with attorney tomorrow morning to go over some stuff and then out of town for three days watching everyone drink.......think I'll take some good books and retire early....that;s gonna raise some eyebrows!!

                Just spoke to Sunny and WOKE HER UP!! I felt terrible, but she was so shocked she had slept so long, said she felt great!The loon is going back to work tomorrow, but she's off Tues and Thursday, so don't call her before noon! Old people need their sleep!! :gramps:

                  Oh gosh - Paula and Nora - I so feel for you - Paula - can you go to your sister? This thread is one thing after another right now. I think the worst thing is not being able to be there with them and not knowing what is going on. Nora - where is your friend? They are both in my prayers - as are you two, Nora and paula. Hang in there both of you. I know how hard it will be for you.


                  yes, Rubes woke me up - I was amazed when I saw the time. the dogs have been trying to get me up for a while, but it was sort of in my dreams so I had been ignoring it. I had a wonderful nights sleep. they say that for every day spent in bed (the hospital) it takes three days to get back to normal and trust me - I now believe that!! I am feeling good today though.

                      I had one night to myself, and now must hurry up and work out and then load up the car and go to FIL's place to meet up with him, MIL, and Mrs. Fen. We will spend the night there and come home tomorrow sometime. Mrs. Fen wants me to clean their house, but I am pretty beat from all the traveling and non-alone time. I have no idea what I'll be walking into when I get there.

                      Plus, I sort of think my depression IS creeping back again. Going to up my ADs again and see if that helps.

                              Oh Fen - I truly understand the needing alone time. You always have a room here......and can steel my interwebz...... LOL I would up your Ad's again - at least to what you were on before. Right now, you need them. I don't think it will be a problem for you.                                 Thanks for the prayers. I just talked to her husband. She is home. They have run many tests and they are coming back ok. She has an appointment at the beginning of June with the specialists that will decide if they can operate at this time. They are trying to put it off as long as possible because of the type & position of the aneurysm. The surgery is going to be extremely risky. But, she has also been having episodes lately that are probably mini strokes. Garbled speech, face numb drooping. She comes out of it but it seems like this all is coming to a point where they are going to have to proceed. :upset: (Oh Sun, she lives in Michigan)

                                Fen - I am so sorry. I am sure you are exhausted. And, I know EXACTLY what you mean about wanting to take off and never be accountable to anyone. Have thought the same thing many times. Are you still on the same AD? You need to tell Mrs Fen that you just aren't up to it right now. They can have someone come in and clean. Aren't her sisters around there?

                                Mama - Good luck with the business meeting. All I can suggest is to keep the AB in your system at ALL times. :h
