    ATL, ask them for something you CAN tolerate. They make an artificial codeine, and Ibuprophen is great. Momma had a patch. Can you check on that, since it bypasses your tummy? Doctors are so pill conscious bc of the addicts. DEA is raiding drug stores around here recently. Can you imagine taking that stuff by the handful like some people?
    Hope you're doing better dealing with the people in your life who make you uptight and judge you. Just remember this, OK?

      I cannot imagine it. So far the only one I could tolerate is Demerol but it is so strong the DEA is wild so I will definitely need to start the pain clinic process if the topamax, imitrex shots and maxalt abortive does not control it-- the neuro knows I need it -- 10 a month does not raise the DEA scrutiny but a bad episode could take many of those and yet one does not want to ruin the efficacy. Averaging 16 or so severe headache days a month , the meds are technically designed to last for 6 hours though I either rarely use them due to Luke or to conserve them and even the doc knows one really bad headache and about half could be legitimately gone. Oh well... This nausea is the worse. And my mother is still a Superfund site!

        ATL, the rebounds are awful too. Can be almost as bad as the original. Hope you have good luck with Pain Managment. You NEED it. Again, get some help. Get a driver occasionally. Take a taxi. OK?

          I finally told one of the worst offenders of the moms ( one of the ones who just does not believe in changing plans even due to health issues even like say CANCER) look my head has hurt for 2 weeks now. I have taken your kid around, planned stuff, done the best that I could so as not to disappoint you all but this is nuts. My child understands I am sick and he cannot have a play date with your kid because of that. I am sorry if you do not. Of course then she offers to take Luke -- look- I don't play those games-- unlike her that was not why i said my peace I was just sick of it. Told her that Luke was fine. And I hope she feels very small!

            YAY. RM You will feel better just standing up for yourself. You don't have to live your life just trying to please, trying to live like them. Live YOUR life, and put your family first. You're no good to them miserable. Get some professional help, OK? Mark and Luke need you more than the haters do.

              Hi everyone,welcome Hope, I have not been sober very long this time around, just keep on trying, nobody judges on here everybody is so supportive. I am now going to bed, having managed to stay sober today after a traumatic few days. My dear sister is slipping in and out of consciousness, but is being taken great care of by her family and our fantastic NHS.

                Paula, we can't ask for more at the end, can we. I'm so sorry for your pain. She has been especially close to you, and having an older sister give up so much to help her siblings is a wonderful gift. She will always be a part of you, young and strong and beautiful. My heart goes out to you, sweetie.

                  Hi all,

                  Sun it wasn't like I did it for that purpose. I just did not feel emotionally today that I could handle a full day of work, post day off. Because I am sure if I had, I would have come into a mess completely by spite.G

                  The women I work with do a minimal amount of work and a maximal amount of talking, gossiping and people hating.

                    Good luck Paula. I pray for your family. Wish we had something like a NHS here-- I hope she is comfortable. Ruby-- I would like to tell them ALL and the longer I am in pain the more the filter is removed!

Luke is practicing the piano-- not great for my head but it is awesome to hear-- he is making up some song in there -- now he is singing old John Henry. He just asked why John Henry is so old and has a hammer!

                              Hi, all. Sunny..I hope you are okay tonight after working......I'm glad you are off tomorrow and going to the doctor. Fen....I've been thinking of you and J and FIL. It was really nice talking with you on Friday too. I love your voice!!! Ruby....how are you feeling? I'm really happy for your daughter and glad they got to see the heartbeat!
