Yes...... Feeling bad..... No drinking.. I want my last few months with my girls to be clear and perfect. They will both leave me at once by the second week in August(heartbroken). I know that this is life. But I will miss them awful! I am dealing with empty nest, menopause, and as you all know, I am estranged from my biological family. But NO. RUBY!!! hey there folks .. hope everyone is doing and feeling their best ..and again I'm sorry for not being here ... but right now I'm finding it very hard to deal with everything and just trying to figure out where sue and i may land .. which to say i have had a talk with ex and she doesn't want to keep this house and then its out of my hands and now survival mode kicks it and now need to just clean up house and sell sell and just come up with enough money for sue and i to relocate... so bird send me your zip code and ruby the same we are thinking Georgia..i find myself walking around here and crying .. its hard to deal with ...but i need to get this done and ready to move on and start a new somewhere else .. so just bear with me ...im always praying for each and everyone and sending good vibes love and big hugs

Spoke with Jean. I sent her a little 'get well' remembrance from all of us today, and she was surprised and happy. We talked about her insane doc and apparently she's stuck with her through the military. Anyone knows you don't quit AD's cold turkey. If I go 3 days without mine I have physical reactions, so it really makes sense that's where our sweet little friend got in trouble. She opens in the morning, so that's good. Gives her a good rest in the afternoon.
Fen, what great news FIL is rallying!! Having yours and J's emotional support, visit, HAD to be a big boost to him. We don't know what's in the future, but the present is sounding better, right. How is J handling this? It's a very tough situation for her, and you, and I wish I could help in some way.
Rog, this is so hard for you. It's hard for your friends here to see you go through this. But now's the time to call in your favors, love. I know you don't need much to get by; a place to sleep, to food, cigarette money :H, and work to keep your hands busy. When you are ready to travel, MAYBE this will be a new adventure, a fresh start, a way to get things right and away from the area that has not been your friend for a long time. This is YOUR journey, love, your choices. You've carried a heavy load your whole life. It's time for you to get out and find out what you're capable of before it's too late, OK? I hope I've not offended you. You mean so much to all of us, are the reason so many are still here and working on ourself, and never are you judgemental. BTW, tell Sue to get her needles ready - I'm gonna need some if her gorgeous needlework for my new grand. There's nothing like a new life to refresh an old one.
To all our casual readers, please don't be frightened away by the turmoil here today. I take full responsibility for misreading the posts, and know I could have handles my concerns so much better. But it done. We all make mistakes but here there is tolerance and forgiveness. Don't let the past few days frighten you away from this remakable site. Find your niche, and help from the wise people here, if not on our thread, then somewhere. For your sake.
At the risk of sounding..... whatever it is that rubs people wrong, it's not been a good day here. Tay came early, Hubs had a talk with her yest and a list, and she really worked at it today. JC is supposed to deliver my chickens soon, and I'll have more 'children' to take care of here. :H But the thought of an egg a day from 5 or 6 free-range chickens is a strong motivator. Next, a playmate for Ninny and maybe goat milk!! Oh, and my wonderful tenant who is a master at HVAC came yest and climbed around under the house, repaired the heat in a snap. It was as bad as the great pessimist, Hubs, had thought and we didn't freeze last night. These cold snaps are common. My hand and arm are swollen uncomfortably but I'm seeing the doc at the end of the week, all is well.
Where are you, Miss Nora? And Bird, are you still wheeling around on errands. Tony, good to hear from you, and glad everyone in your world has you in it.
