Fen - SO sorry about FIL - J must be devastated. I agree - it isn't fair to not tell the 'kids' - especially when they are adults!! Anyway - I am pleased J is going to see him this weekend.

I have sad news - I had to have Ben put down tonight - he had emergency surgery and the vet couldn't do anything to help him - so we have lost yet another sheltie. he was the rescue that we got a year ago last November. I posted when I got home from work that he wasn't feeling well. I took him to my vet who came in after hours for me - have I mentioned before that I love my vet - anyway he worked on him for about three hours but it was a no go - and he had to put him down. My only ray of sunshine in all of this is that he is with Maggie now.
