      Well - just had some Sleepytime tea. Don't really care for it. Was trying to find something relaxing. Guess I'm just a plain Lipton tea type of girl. :H

        The concert was great-- so much better than the mall version-- they sang like angels. I loved every song and Luke got to accept his prize. We got a better DVD of the chorus. They did a Babyface song that I can't recall the name of now-- it is a contemporary one- Luke loved it-- I am in the car coming back from Tom Petty-- there were some peoPle who maybe should have stayed home and listened to the album-- I may have lowered the average age considerably and I am 44! There were quite a few folk with off road miles shall I say-- but at least they were trying I suppose-- maybe a lot of hard years. Tom was great-- Mama you would have liked it a lot-- i danced a ton but I am beat and getting another migraine ( blasted head injury)

              Good Morning everyone - ATL - so glad the concert went well. Sorry you have another headache on the way - as you said - blasted head injury!!

              Hi Nora - lovely talking yesterday - I did get to chat with Rubes and she is doing okay, I am calling her again later this week. I also sent her a pic of the new puppy. She told me about her too - her hubs doesn't know about hers!

              Hi Fen - glad the trip to the cabin was good - yes, that was such a scare for me yesterday with my mum but we are sorting out neighbours and numbers today so we will have a plan so if anything happens again, we have a better way of finding out what is going on. Have a good day won't you :l

              The night with the pup went well - to start with she was in the computer room next to the bedroom, but ended up being in the bedroom - LOL I had a gate over in such a way so those were the only two places she could get to. We all slept VERY well!! This morning she has been outside and done her stuff and had breakfast and is now trying to get Daisy to play.

              I have a meeting at work this morning then come home then go back later to close so need to go and get my self in gear!! Wish Bird would come and say hi......

              Morning Jan sorry about your hubs not agreeing to a puppy but you do sort of have enough on your plate right now.....although it would help to take your mind off things. Hope you have a wonderful day my friend :h

                Good morning, peeps. Went to bed ridiculously early. Mrs. Fen was very needy after her weekend and I was a bit worn out by my own quasi-relaxing time. Plus, older, sick kitty was desperate for lovin's, as I've been away since Thursday, which translates to eons in cat time.

                Trying to line up some final good times for pappy. He's a traveler, but can't travel too far these days. We have a couple of places he's agreed to visit within 2 or 3 hours of his home. A bit of a change for a man who has been kayaking in Mongolia, but it is what it is.

                  Sun, what is the puppy's name? How is Daisy Daisies adjusting to her? She's a cute little fuzzball, but I can't get her pic off of my text messages and into my gallery to post on here. If you take her pic and email it to me, I can get it up here for you if you like.

                  Yes, you need to get some phone numbers for your mum's neighbors...and give one of them a key if she trusts them. It can really remove a lot of worry and hassle. Once, my mum didn't place the phone back correctly on the cradle, and I got nothing but busy signals for hours. Called her neighbors and one of them ran over and told her to check her phone! :H She called me right back to explain what happened. It's so hard to worry over them, especially when you live so far away. :h

                    ATL, I heard something fascinating on NPR this weekend. If you put something cold on your palate- ice, ice cream, popsicle, etc. and give yourself brain freeze when you feel a migraine coming on, you can stop it in it's tracks. Give it a try...brain freeze has a very fancy name. "Sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia".

                        Oh, I forgot to mention...my palatial manse, "Tick Hollow", now features a shower as well as hot water and a terlet. :H Yes, it's true. No more bucket baths.
