Hi there. I'm here. Sorry about what's going on with everyone.
Roger - been thinking about you all day. :l
Rubes - you too. Feel better. :l
Coco - Good to see that you're back to normal.
Fen - when do you go for the EKG?
Mama - you are sounding great. Maybe you'll rub off on me.
Sun - what's wrong? Post please.
Bird - how are you doing? Playing tonight?
Tony - Always great to see you. You started a great thread the other day but I didn't have anything useful to add.
ATL - How are you feeling?
Bob, Gina, Swannie, Grateful, Vickie, Mish and everyone else that I missed naming......come on back. We're missing you."Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

The Journey begins here so get YOUR ASSES IN GEAR!!!!FOR APRIL
Sort of a bittersweet day today. I was really stressing out over the whole arrhythmia caused by Celexa thing, so I got into the clinic and had my EKG today- normal, thank goodness.
Then, I went to my mom's house to trim the shrubs. She has what you'd call a "privet" hedge, I guess. As soon as I got there, I could see the elderly "kids" of the lady next door cleaning out her garage and house for sale...she died back in November, at the age of 95. I told them that I'd really enjoyed their folks when I was a kid. They were so kind to me when I was in my angsty teenaged years. I shared some funny stories of my experiences with their folks, which was fun.
Did a lot of grunt labor for mom, and her yard looks great right now. It's just odd remembering how big the world (and my old neighborhood) was back when I was young...and how small the world has become now. Missing a lot of the older folks who've passed on, including my dad- plus bracing myself for my mom's demise too.
Got home and found one of the shells from my dad's funeral- the twenty-one gun salute (he was in WWII). I wonder if I can make a necklace or something out of it? I'm open to suggestions.

Fen - I understand how you feel. I've been having those thoughts too. Things have changed so much. I try not to think of it as coming to an end. But, those thoughts of losing my parents & my aunts & uncles that are ill now. I guess sometimes, we just have to allow ourselves to feel melancholy??
I think a necklace out of the shell would be great. Sounds like a good idea.
So glad to hear that your EKG was ok. Did you talk to the Dr about your meds yet?"Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett
