I live by the motto to not air my problems anymore because " half the people won't care that i have them and the other half will be glad that I have them.. Not the people here just life in general.

Just as I was getting to sleep, at 9.05, got a call from insurance co. Read them the riot act and told them to make a note in our files to NEVER call here till after 10.30! Went plum postal on 'em!
Fen, don't know where that pic came from. Glad FIL is going home and will try chemo. Gives him more time with loved ones. Hope they get some daily helped. Caring for him will be a lot on MIL.
Bird, glad chicklet will see counselor. I've been worried about her. :hug:

We only wait until 9am to start calling people to remind them of appointments unless otherwise noted. I'm sure to them they didn't mean any annoyance, but it is good you told them for the future. I have been yelled at more than a few times for calling that early. Lol

Just bought the new clorox toilet brush with snap on snap off disposable heads pre filled with cleaner.... Yay!! They clean beautifully and they are small enough to fit down the hole to clean and then Presto.... You push a button and they go right in the trash! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. What can I say..... It IS the little things.

Agreed, G, I love those things! And Clorox wipes. Can't live without them now, even though I make a lot of my cleaning products. (I'm super sensitive) I use white vinegar and borax as a softener.
Just ordered daughter a big arrangement for her BD from edible arrangements. Looks beautiful!!!



Today would have been my father's 80th birthday. I miss him much as I did in 2000.

I am glad that such small things still bring me joy, I used to love to clean before I started my job..... Now I can barely keep up.. My house is big but in all honestly I let it go and now it is like a wild animal out of its cage.. Someday it will be PERFECT again.

Daughter just let me know she's thrilled with the arrangement. I'm so happy, she's hard to please. Said it was perfect!! And that the kids will freak. I'm also giving her a $50 gift certificate, a magazine supbscription, and a great book called 'French Children Eat Everything'. She deserves it all. She is a terrific daughter, the major breadwinner, a hard worker, and a great mom. She really is self-made, too. Can you tell I admire her tremendously?? :H ATL, it's worth the drive to Gainesville to get her as your woman doctor. Her patients love her, and a lot of really high profile people ask for her specifically. She's delivered some major sports players wives' babies. Yes, I'm bragging shamelessly.
G, if my Daddy isn't in Heaven, I don't want to go. I'll never forget what he told me on his deathbed, with tears streaming down his face. "I want to go to heaven, but if I get there, and God says I haven't done anything to deserve it, I won't hold it against him." We both were sobbing when I told him it didn't work that way, if he didn't get in I certainly wouldn't.:upset: :wings:

Thank you, Jan. Momma is with him, too. She barely lasted a year without him, and used to sit by him and trim the grass around his grave with scissors. They had been inseparable since they were 16.
Still no sleep, but going strong here. Well, as strong as this body will let me! :H Still so pleased with myself making daughter happy. I highly recommend the company because she says it's 'awesome'. A little pricey for the one I got, but they have all ranges, and I didn't order till after 9 AM. They are beautiful, too. Edible Arrangements® Fruit Baskets, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Fruit Bouquets Sun, would be great to send your daughter at her new home. Just saying...........
