          Georgie-- I wrote that yesterday-- not MB. You insulted the intelligence of everyone in the southern United States for no reason AT ALL yesterday when you lashed out in your rage at Ruby. And with even a little examination of our posts you could see that MANY of us live in the southern United States-- it is listed in the top right in location or is discussed in posts or as in my posts is part of my screen name. At any rate, my comment was pretty innocuous given the unwarranted shot you took at an entire group of folks (though after 44 years it is a default argument that we are pretty used to). I already had made the decision to just engage with folks off the boards because I do not wish to engage with you and that is my right. But please do not use my words to excoriate Mama Bear. Perhaps your earlier thought to just "f" the forum and move on was a good one.

            There were a few comments made about the Southern remarks after this was supposed to be over and I accepted Ruby's apology. ATL, Ruby and Fen said something directly and MB pasted ATL's comment to hers, so it seems to me that you all kept this going as of last night. Besides I stated for the record that it was meant to offend Ruby. And no, I don't pay attention to where everyone is from. Now that you mention it I do remember you once telling me that ATL stood for Atlanta, but that was farthest from my mind when I was so furious with Ruby for berating me, embarrassing me and telling me to go to bed like a child. All this while she accused me of drinking before my feet hit the floor from sleeping than reading a book in my bed. You all should apologize as well for being so quick to judge.

                            So sorry I thought this was a place of safety and security, a bit like the Samaritans. It was somewhere I felt at home. My life at the moment is full of sorrow, I can do without seeing nasty comments, and seeing people upset. Please remember that some of us are vulnerable and at different stages of recovery from alcohol. I no longer feel comfortable here.
