        I feel that a weight has gone from my shoulders, thank you. Yes a hosepipe is used for watering,in my case flowers and car washing.Wish it was even slightly warm and dry here, but I'm sure everybody knows how unpredictable the British weather is.

            Don't know what Americans would call a hosepipe, It is a long rubber tube that fixes to a water tap and extends so that we can water straight from the tap. If that sound strange ask Jeeves, he's very knowlegable.

                we call them garden hoses and they attach to a spicket
                at least down here in the South

                            Mama - have a great time. We have to take our puppy in tomorrow to get neutered. Poor thing, I just hate that. She's going to be in pain. Poor baby. (Expensive too )

                              Paula, my New Zealand friend reports to me that our "side walks" are known over there as "foot paths", which makes way more sense to me.
