I can't remember who to credit with this pointer
I was reading the posts here last night and someone suggested looking at You Tube - a series of ten videos 'raining in my heart' about alcoholism. I watched them and they are a powerful message that many would, I think, find helpful and hard hitting. My brother was in a similar position to one of the people in the videos and died in ICU basically by bleeding to death.

Very sad indeed. I was really upset over the young lady that lost her son and kept ending up in the ER over her drinking, and eventually died. These videos are definitely eye opening. I wish they would do another series like this.:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:
Believe in yourself. You are stronger than you think.

I saw these back at the end of last year when I was giving up AL...they are worth seeing to those who are having thoughts of drinking or modding again. It will inevitable end up like that for us if we don't give it up completely, in my honest opinion. Unfortuately, the holidays got the best of me and I ended up caving in, only to crawl back here in February and I'm so glad I did. Just goes to show you that even after watching those heartwrenching videos, I still "stupidly" drank and woke up a few more times hungover before I finally quit for good this time...cause I ain't NEVER going back to the terrible way I felt after a night of even just a few glasses of wine!Whatever you invest in the circle of LIFE is what comes back to you. Multiplied. What you give to people is what they eventually give back to you. Don't do the math. Just increase your LOVE.
