just got a delightful letter saying working one day a week and gettign ema means I don't get free prescriptions, I get roughly 15 items a month at a charge of ?7.65 each. Does anybody want to do the maths on exactly how liekly it is I'll be able to actually look after myself medically spekaing on that money? I'll give you a clue - I'll have to give up everythign except medication. Been crying for an hour, day 5 doesn't look likely...

Ah Inchydonney - try not to be upset.:l Lets not panic !
Let's think about this eh ? before you do anything ?
If you were to not drink as much - would some of the things that are medically out of sorts with you possibly get better ?
And you would save some money buying less AL ?

I know I was spending €10 + a day on wine at one stage - maths on that ?

Incheroooo, don't panic.

I've never got free prescription but the prescription prepayment scheme saves us an absolute fortune.

3 months for ?29.10 is a blooming sight better than ?114.75 a month or

One year for ?104 is an absolute bargain compared to ?1377.00 a year

satz: mecial problems don't improve without AL, even if they did I'd still need the same prescription items to manage my skin etc (items are for eczma, asthma and allergies). I dont spend enough on AL to cover charges that will come in at ?80-?100 every two weeks.

Molly: There is nothing I can do, and thats all i can say, I don't have the money n can't get it either

edit: thanks for th elink though, just managed to order my certificate and backdate it far enough to get refunds for at least a couple of items. now I'm going toe at chocolate xD f*ck AL, day 4 it is and what can drinkign do for me that a ripple can't? xD

Don't dwell on how unfair it is - life is unfair - but we need to rise above it - do you want to feel happy again or remain unhappy - you have that choice today. Think about it please.

ps I have worked longer than you are alive & have NEVER got free doctor, prescriptions, or medicines.

AND I do not agree skin problems & allergies can not be cured by what goes into our mouths - they can .
