didnt want to be one of them!!

when i first came here to mwo (thank you a million times) there were people here who had joined a few years earlier. after finding this site i fell happily into 3 wonderful sober months and thought ' im so glad im not one of them... the people who havent cracked it', well it looks like i am now 'one of them'. its a strange beast this alcoholism. but anyway thats my recent story.

ps anyone who wondered where i went in january. i lost (long story) my internet for a few weeks, and then just didnt pick up the computer.. for anything, not even shoes if jc is reading
Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

Welcome back SpuddleDuck. There are a whole bunch of us in your shoes who just came back so the bench is long and we have more seats. :-)
That popping sound you hear is me attempting to remove my head from my arse. It's been there for years so this may take a while.
Admitting I need healing. And I am not big enough to do this alone.

I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.
