Nora - I meant to ask you earlier...what has your pattern been with AB? I noticed that mine (last year, according to my calendar) was about 2 weeks on it, then about 5-6 days drinking. I don't know why, but in analyzing the calendar (that sounds deep doesn't it...lol) that was normally what I would do. I figured I drank "Ok" amounts for 3-4 days, then by days 5-6 I was probably off the charts and feeling so bad that I started AB again. This whole addiction thing is confusing and doesn't make sense! It IS easier to just NOT drink at ALL! Also, I'm sure I started drinking too "early" after stopping AB, so I'm sure days 1-2 weren't even what I perceived as "fun"....more like skin rashes and palpitating heart...and one time, projectile vomit all night. TMI, I know...sorry.

p.s. Thanks Cat...now I have gas to look forward to. I just blame it on the dogs. Or if I'm at work, I blame it on the Mayor. LOL

I am cracking up here reading these posts!!!!!! Mama, Cat and K9.....too friggin funny! I can totally relate to the gas part....I went to bed the other night before my husband and when he came into the bedroom he was like "Jesus Christ....did you just sh*t yourself".....LMAO ( way too TMI....but true). I have been sleeping in the guest room ever since. I like sleeping in there though because I have the bed ALL to myself! When I was at work I could always blame in on the dog or cat...I am a veterinary technician! HeeHee...talk about convenient!

Fly....so sorry to hear about your friend. About a month ago I had a dream about a guy I used to work with when I lived back on Long Island. I got to wondering how he was and what he was up to. 2 days later I got a phone call that he had died from pancreatic cancer! So sad...I never knew he was sick!

One of my dogs walks down the hallway and with each step she's ripping one. Then one time she was asleep and cut a HUGE one and it scared her, she jumped up and barked at her butt. LOL....I DIED laughing!!!!

                        Hi Everyone,

Fly, I am so sorry about your friend.:upset: She was lucky to have known someone as lovely as you.:l I know you will be a wonderful support to her husband and children, because you are AF. You can be there, and remember everything, because you have a clear head. If they know you as well as we've come to know you, they will realize you are such a blessing.

K9, Destiniey, et. al.....you are probably too young to remember this phrase, but Mama Bear and I are the same age....51, except I am two days older than she is. so we probably have used it MANY times. When someone accuses you of "laying some eggs (as my courteous 22-year-old nephew says), then you say, loudly, " WHOEVER SMELT IT, DEALT IT!!!!" :H

Cat Belle....um, white bean chili and broccoli for lunch....might explain why you haven't had a date in a while!.hahaha just kiddin.

                                Rusty,
I do remember that phrase because my mom used to say it. Now the kids snap their fingers and say "No beats"....whatever the heck that means. I just thought it was funny so I was walking around singing "no beats...lalala"...they said "UM, that means you just cut a fart". LOL
