Unfortunately I had to take the "pom pom" yarn back because it is just too advanced for me to work with. I've also taken back the "feather" yarn, and the "web" yarn (it spread out, hard to explain). Guess I better just stick to the big balls of cheap boring yarn. LOL (Which is probably good because the fancy yarns are like $7 per roll...yikes).
Sorry Mama, no pom pom bikini....YET!:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

Yay Mama! So glad the SmashFest proved to be ALL CLEAR!!! You should pack your 44's in some ice...they're probably sore. I'm so thankful that you are OK!! :h
Mauri, yes that "web" yarn is supposed to magically transform into the object of your choice in very few crochet moves, but I agree with you "MY ARSE!!!"...I struggled and struggled for 2 days before I admitted defeat. The feathers are no easier! Thankfully the "basic" yarn comes in really pretty colors too.
The blanket I sent my Charlie away in was a home made crochet blanket I had made. It was pink, but I don't think he would mind. I told the vet to keep him wrapped in it, even in the freezer. And no I never want to see it again. That was my parting gift to my sweet Charlie Boy.:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

Great news on being cancer free Mama Bear!!
Crochet? Me, no thanks I think Ironman is easier. I blame it on my left handed-ness. When ever I have attempted knitting or crocheting it gets tighter and tighter until I can't move the needles. Pretty sad!
I can sew though, basic level of course.
Have a great day, it's a hot one here in BC.

Good Morning Mama and all!
I kissed my little fat dog extra last night too even though she stinks to high heaven. Her skin is a mess and she looks like she should be on an ASPCA commercial with the "Arms of the Angel" theme song playing in the background. I promise, she's not abused! LOL
I'm almost done with scarf #1. My daughter chose the yarn. She wanted it very long, from one knee to the other with one wrap around the neck. She has this Doctor Who obsession and apparently he has one just like it, so I did as she instructed...it will be done tonight. Then I can start on Mama's yarn bikini!:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:
