Oh I'm sure he's not. He cries and whines all the time because he's not. The other night I had about 4 drunk voicemails saying how much he wished he was here.

I am bumping this thread because I find this particularly helpful in my current situation. I was searching my way out "encouraging threads" on Google and this one resulted. Not only did I read encouraging posts overall, I read posts regarding great ways to distract one from the alcohol thoughts that can hit us all at any given time.

One really beneficial post that I read was regarding gratitude. This thread can help me stay sober one more day. I hope others get to read it and get some peace out of it as well.
