I have faced it, a life wasted, and I am never going back there again

To ya'll my name is inchy. I am an alcoholic - and priority number one is making it to the end of this day AF. No excuses.

it does turn a corner soon though, can't remember details but I seem to remember after a couple of weeks the days got easier rather than harder.....

keep it up, you're doing a fab job
I have a drink problem, I have been AF since 15 March 2011 and I am working hard to stay that way

Pingu's right. Couldn't put an exact time on it but hang on in there. It won't be long.

I found back in the very early days to make a written plan for my day. Might sound daft but it was hour by hour.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Thanks for all your kind words lads, I wasn't THAT bothered --- just sometimes you don't need something, if you know what I mean :-)
Anyways, had a smashing afternoon - ate (again) loads and bout 20 cappucino's and then plonked ourselves on a display couch in the middle of a big dept. store to finish our chat like a pair of oul ones --- the advantage of bein a middle aged woman -- if we'd been two young ones we'da been thrown out Good to see you home safe and sound Oney - albeit knackered!
Molly, glad your day turned out so well. I love doing stuff like that in stores. And yes, there are defo advantages to being "middle aged". And one of them is that I can do any fecking thing I like and no one will say anything. They may think me a fool or odd or whatever but I don't care. I just do what I like to do and don't give a fat rat's clacker. Thank you to Tawnyfrog for introducing me to that most useful phrase.:H

why do you need to do your nails to go to the dentist?

Well apart from the dentist being absolutely swoon worthy. :h

I'm terrified of the whole dental thing so if I put a good front on it gives me a bit of a boost more often than not it works.

Don't even think about it, Incheroo. You feel shit now. There's one thing I can guarantee you'll feel 10 times shittier tomorrow.

I'm NHS with me dentist but it'll still cost a fair whack. I should get a discount for frequent user.

                      Yep, that would do it.

Troopers, I am off to walk a very clean and well-brushed Freddie in the pouring rain and then to bed.

                            Ach I'll be OK.

Just had a few wobbly moments. It's just that the dental treatment lead to the great relapse April 2009-July 2009.

But I'm forewarned and forearmed this time.

Anyhoo I've just seen the blinking time. It's after 9 and I'd better go and feed. Thank goodness it's back to normal tomorrow.

Back for a midnight lurk if any one's about.

A bit like you, Starts, ADDICTED! I had a 6 pack of wee mallow darlings wiped out between two ad breaks . A ASK MYSELF - s my behaviour around chocolate really THAT different to when I was drinking.....? I ANSWER MYSELF...YES. (Thank GOD, I didn't end up in jail for eating bloody chocolate now, DID I.
