    Old wisdom - but still useful!

    Thought I would post this here as I posted it elsewhere in reply to seeing Irishlady's new Signature.


    Zen Buddhist philosophy says something like:

    Yesterday is in the past, is gone and cannot be changed - so why worry about what happened in the past.
    Tomorrow is in the future and will almost certainly not be as you imagine it - so why worry about what it will be like.
    The only thing you can REALLY control is your actions RIGHT NOW in the present - in this very moment.


    It is what is getting me through this "interesting" phase of my life.

    Quite apt for all of us I think
