I also would agree that a lot of 'misunderstandings' like the example you gave above happen - things not being talked through, or maybe the inability to vocalise. Yeah you got me thinkin now ---- and that IS dangerous Did'ya get your lappie yet?

X-post ladies. I didn't mean to ignore you. I'm at work and am trying to type posts and look up pictures in between walk-in customers and the phone ringing.

Pinky, I'm so sorry that you were treated so badly and your mother was so uncaring. You are better without her then. I would think it would be extremely difficult for someone to forgive something like that and I imagine never forget it. And seeing her would no doubt bring up bad memories of the past.

I don't know about the mean part. I agree with Molly about people having no conscious. And circumstances can make people turn somewhat nasty as they grow older. I remember Mr. Stirly's mother and his aunt were very close until a few years after we moved back to Greece. Mr. Stirly and I bought a small supermarket and the one time his cousin (the aunt's son) came to see us at the store happened to be on Christmas Eve and we were really, really busy. We were even sending the kids to help the customers carry their groceries home. Anyway, I guess he must have gone home and told his mother how good our business was and you know what, her attitude towards us and her sister changed almost over night. Her son was very successful at doing SFA or finding lost hunting dogs and selling them and I guess she was jealous at how well our business appeared to be doing. It wasn't that good, he just happened to be there on the day we were going bananas. Anyway she started getting nastier and nastier until one day my MIL went to visit her and she literally threw her off the doorstep. I personally never liked her that much from the first time I met her. One of those people who meddles in other's business.

Gawd here I go again 'bout the cows, I am not THINKING about them once more today. May have to brave friggintesco - inventory of fridge ---- no milk, no meat, no cereals, no................. well tbh -no much of anything:upset:
Better get yer arse down to friggintesco then. It's frigginLIDL here.

Yep, my sister was always an inconsiderate person and thought only of herself. And if she ever did anything for you or someone else it was only so she could say she'd done it. Pain in the arse. I can remember Sunday mornings when the other 5 members of the family would be sitting in the car patiently waiting for her to change her outfit or her hair style for the umpteenth time before we could leave for church. A selfish cow is what she was. And she could never save a penny if her life depended on it. That's why she always had to borrow money from my parents. Always spent way more that they made. I rarely think of her TBO. Not much good to think about so why bother. Okay, second rant over.

hiya guys, been to look at a new car, taking it out for a test drive tommorrow, and old one getting scrapped soon, i will miss my old car, but the new one is mint, its a citeron saxo, blue with tinted windows.

Out with the old and in with the new, this L glutamine is great for cravings, but it does make me feel a little bit spaced

                              Hiya Zennie-butt!!

Pinky - congrats on the new car. I gather it looks something like this.

Molly, that part about Joey being chuffed that the school hadn't called made me laugh.:H

Mrs. A - glad you got there okay. Wow, dinner cooked by a famous chef - good for you. How come you're hanging out with these guys anyway?

Oney-bint - :H:H I love you too. And your Daddy was right. As always.

Now where is Jackie, Reccie, Marioman, KTABbers, Tipster, Satz, Pingu and the rest of the troopers. Sorry if I left out any names. I had a busy day at work. Not complaining, mind you. Actually did a fair amount of business in the store today and put some nice hot yo-yo's in Mr. Stirly's cash drawer.
