        Hello folks

        Lots and lots about families today! Who'd have them? Sorry to hear about the goings on and stresses in your family yesterday tips. Hope things have calmed down a bit now. Sorry to hear about the bad things that have happened in other folks' families too.

        Well done on clocking up 1000 posts pinky. Hope you manage to get yourself sorted out with a nice car.

        Glad you're getting things sorted out in London, whizzy. Actually, I share Mr A's concern about you falling over. Make sure you concentrate the whole time cos there will be lots of people to bump into and cause accidents on Sunday.

        Not got the faintest idea why you would think you're not funny when sober, molly. I think you're dead funny. Really! You make me laugh every day.

        Good for you on getting Ollie back, jan. I hope you and he will be getting all the support you need.

        JC, I reckon you should become a personal shopper, you seen to have a knack for hunting down bargains. Good luck with planting the beautiful lilac Heather out in the cold and hissing rain. I suspect that particular Heather is better suited to sunnier climes tho!

        Far too many things to comment on today, so I won't even try to cover them all. Hope you're all having a fantastic day.

          I love doing a cover up kinda job. My Mom used to call it "a spit and a promise". Spit on a cloth, give the table a wee polish and promise to do a better job next time. Not literally spit, it was just a saying. Sometimes if I don't feel like doing the dishes, I give them a quick rinse, chuck them in the oven so you can't see them and wash them the next day. Makes the kitchen look tidy, at least. Mind you, don't forget to turn the oven on to cook something if you haven't taken them out yet.

          Hiya Reccie-bear!! I think you're right about the Heather. Much better to be in a warm climate. Especially the mauve one...

          And I agree what you said about Molly. She makes me laugh every day, too.

                    I went out between the rain storms and turrible tempests we've been having and nipped up and bought. My Grandad used to have an umbrella that covered the whole of our families heads when it was pissing down. It was either huge or we all had tiny heads.
