I just want to thank God and everyone here for helping me to get to where I am today. Today is my 11th month AF anniversary. I know that there is no way I could have done this alone. I needed both God and you all to help me get and stay sober. And for that I am so grateful. Looking forward to next month where I will be celebrating my 1 year anniversary. Till then and after then I will be taking it ODAAT! My piece of advice for those who are new/struggling, never give up. If you fail, try again. Perhaps you need to change your plan, perhaps you need to change your thoughts. What ever it takes (legally) do it because it is so nice to be 11 months sober. I still have my times where I want to drink, but they are getting further apart and weaker. I love my AF life.No getting drunk, no hangovers, and respect for myself and my bar family is so supportive of me. Some will even slap me if I were to drink again.
