Ya know satz, I was such a bleeding fuck-up I actually thought I NEEDED to lose all the brain cells I munted through the drink to be on the same wave-length as non-alkie 'normal' folk. I truly did...god - the BIG BOOK of AA talks about 'delusions of granduer', I just got the deluded bit a bit mucked up :H

But yes, I am grateful to still be fairly bright upstairs, I have met people with Korsakovs (wet brain) due to alcoholism - very very scary.
