        The list is running late.
        Really sorry to hear about your FIL Rags. Life has a way of beating the shit out of us, doesn't it?

          My list is being very nice to me and told me that once I send of a report that is currently being proof read I can go home, turn off the phone, and spend some quality time with myself

                            FIL is sort of OK and now on oxygen to help his breathing. But at home at least.

                            Borneo report will be a few days coming, as although I don't have a list, I am very busy (and a bit important in my own mind) the next couple of days.
                            Girlfriend from Qld coming down to-day and I meet up with her tomorrow. And will try to see my very good friend who has tumors in her liver which are growing back at a fast rate despite the chemo. That is so very sad and distressing for me.... much more so than FIL who is 86.
                            And Sunday there's a big celebration at Wingello for Buddha's birthday.


                            If you lived closer you could go to my dentist.

                            Well, at 86 you're close to the end of your time on this good earth anyway.
                            Making me sit up again and take note though on my own mortality..... to the point where I too shall join you other Undies and start making lists.

                            Number one on my list: Greet each morning with a smile, and live the day fully in each moment.

                            Number two: Read the Desiderata before I get out of bed. And then try to live it.

                                Dog you guys make me laugh sometimes!!

                                Today is the first time in many months that I'm going home for the weekend with all my work up-to-date. Its a great feeling!!

                                I am turning off the computer, turning off the phone and watch Pride and Predjudice, and when I've reminded myself of the story I'm going to read Death at Pemberly ( a PD James sequel to the original book!)
